The blockchain-based social media platform Steemit has entered into a strategic partnership with the TRON Foundation. The development teams of both companies plan to bring Steemit and other Steem dApps to the TRON blockchain.

In collaboration with the TRON Foundation, Steemit wants to generate more value for individual users. For better integration, the STEEM token, which is part of the internal reward system, should also find its way onto the TRON blockchain.

Steemit offers the original concept in which forums and cryptocurrencies come together. A concept where cryptocurrencies could be distributed as easily as likes and upvotes. And that could contribute to that currency adoption and appreciation. Since we started the platform in 2016 on a small budget and with an idealistic team, I have enjoyed developing the platform and growing the user base. Now I am very happy that a strategic partner is trying to take [the project] to new heights.
