In one of the last updates that took place in Splinterlands, we had the news that modern ranked would have a major overhaul in the game system, rewards and much more.
In short, the bracket system that had been tested in survival has now gone to modern mode, with some modifications. Within each bracket, instead of just a maximum, there is also a minimum for the level of the cards in general, something that is unprecedented from what I remember. Each bracket will have a minimum and maximum card level and the archon will also define the minimum.
There will also be climbing throughout the season, not through tiers (bronze, silver, gold...), but within the bracket that was chosen by the player, moving up in divisions within the brackets. Every 500 rating points the player will move to a new division, going from 9 to division 1, and the higher the bracket and division level, the greater the rewards.
The issue we are going to analyze is that now that we have the bracket in modern mode, this means that the event for testing the brackets in survival mode has come to an end. So, the question for those who were participating is what are the rewards in survival mode like after the event ends? Is it still worth participating in survival mode? Is this the end of the 250k glint reward?

Splinterlands Survival Rewards After Brackets Update!
It's personal, there are many questions and few answers. As much as we had several announcements about the arrival of the bracket in modern mode, with messages on official channels and social media, it seems that survival ended up being VERY forgotten by the devs.
The game mode that served as a test and had the event for several seasons and provided a lot of feedback, seems to have been left aside this season without any news or post about how it would look. And even now, many questions remain unanswered.
At the beginning of this season, players started receiving the news that the event would end as soon as the brackets arrived in modern, the first message said that it might arrive and the second already confirmed it, that is, there will be no more test event and with that without 250k extra glint in survival.
Furthermore, to the players' surprise, brackets I, II and V were disabled for this season, and nothing was said about it before the season started. As a result, all players who had a rating last season started this season with a 0 rating because they changed brackets. And we had the return of the greater Cooldown Reduction for the cards, making each match about survival.
The even bigger problem with disabled brackets is that players who already had a rating in brackets III, IV or VI, continued with their ratings without any type of reset, meaning that a player who had their rating reset would have to play many more matches in that season to get at least close to the players who have a high rating.
This means that most likely a good number of players will not be able to reach the top 25 because the competition was not equivalent and because they are all competing in fewer brackets it means a higher level of difficulty... So, you can consider that you don't have the glint of the Ascension Tournament or the Leaderboard. And as the difficulty has increased, you tend to win fewer victories and earn less glint from the pool :/
