The pooling upgrade to Chia requires actually having a small amount of XCH in your wallet, so a couple of Chia faucets have sprung up to make sure everyone can have some.
Wallets
Of course you will need a wallet, create one via the official protocol at Chia Network or try out the excellent Nucle.io Chia DeFi wallet (which doesn't need to sync the entire Chia blockchain).
The faucets
The official one https://faucet.chia.net is very simple like Andresen's original 'the Bitcoin faucet',
and there's a more sophisticated one, it is trying to run ads https://chia.togatech.org in order to fund itself and operate longer.....
You just need a wallet address which you can get by downloading here.
In the Chia client go to Wallets and use the Receive Address - there is a handy copy button.
Hopefully more Chia faucets will appear.
