Take your support away from fiat countries and put it into DAOs

The Decentralized Autonomous Organization

By Hamminy | cryptoinvesting | 25 Dec 2020

I don't know why it took me so long to realize that the Decentralized Autonomous Organization (DAO) is actually a sovereign country. That comes with a lot of responsibility, responsibility that I don't think most people are ready for. Freedom costs.

And to the cretins who are only into crypto for the fiat gains, skip this article. Skip my whole blog, actually. This shit ain't for you.

You Now Rival Other Countries

The DAO is a natural threat to the sovereignty of a centralized fiat-based country. That antiquated model has reached the limit of its functionality, and it exists now only to perpetuate itself. There is nothing more that structure can give to humanity in terms of a better way of life.

Regardless, those at the top of the pyramid in fiat countries do not want to give up their power, i.e., their ability to tax you unfairly. The operative word here is unfairly. Without the power to raise taxes on its citizens on a whim, the fiat model breaks down. It cannot survive. The standard of living in the proletariat class goes down, and the only option is revolution. Well, the blue bloods at the top can't have that. They live off of the labor of the lower classes because they can't do anything productive themselves!

The "elite's" only solution is to attempt a forcible confiscation of value where value is most prevalent. Right now, that is in the crypto space. However, the elite face a new challenge — anonymous decentralization and significant transactional volume based in currencies outside of their control. In short, they can't take your money whenever they want to.

This is killing them.

The best those pieces of shit can do is to set up guards at the border of fiat and crypto to try to take records of who is moving in and out. Taxation at the fiat/crypto ramp has no basis in natural law. It seems like it does, but it doesn't. Do you get taxed just because you travel, change one currency into another, and begin transacting in that currency? No! The country you're traveling to should be happy you're bringing new value into their borders and consuming goods and services from them, allowing them a profit in their currency. But the fiat nations are breaking down, and they are therefore trying to take more than their fair share. Don't let them.

Change to fiat through P2P platforms. Find a few good sellers and meet with them face to face to move your money. Better yet, transact in crypto. The market is moving towards us, not away.

But realize this power makes you a country-level threat. Defend yourself accordingly.

What Being a Country Means

Being a country means that you are responsible for your own security and trade. You are negotiating for these things on a transactional basis, and the negotiation never stops. As a full citizen of a country, much of this negotiation is supposed to be taken care of for you. Ideally, getting rid of this responsibility allows the citizen to produce high-efficiency, specialized, high-quality labor. Ideally.

Government hasn't been doing its job, and it's time for individuals to take back the responsibility of sovereignty.

This is a heavy responsibility. We can't get mad if countries try to fuck us out of our money, especially the money that we create in the DAO. However, we cannot allow these outside governments to arbitrate whether the money we create is valid or not. The Securities & Exchange Commission of the United States is attempting to usurp this power through its sanctioning of XRP. As scammy as Garlinghouse is, the fact that the SEC is claiming authority over XRP may lead them to think they have sovereignty over your currency. You cannot argue this point with them. If you "win a case" after they accuse you, that is not legitimacy.

Would the UAE submit to a US court if the SEC accused the dirham of being fake? No. The UAE would readjust its policy to exclude the US and the dollar from as much UAE business as humanly possible. DAOs must do this as well.

Supporting Other Countries

As decentralized countries, we must band together in order to survive. We must also reduce our connection to fiat currencies and countries. If you remain a citizen of a fiat country and create your own money successfully, that country may try to usurp your currency by placing a question mark on your citizenship. The way I see it, you have two choices: Relinquish fiat citizenship, which may not be viable at this point. (It will be later.) The other choice now is to stay as anonymous as possible.

The other thing we must do is support other DAOs more than we support fiat countries. As we take our value from them and give it to ourselves, they will be forced to negotiate with us with more respect. This requires you taking back control of your own intellectual value, which is the real value in this equation. That means get a job in crypto, not at Verizon; use Presearch, not Google; sell your data using Ocean Protocol instead of giving it away on Facebook. It also means using your money to shore up your basic lifestyle. Learning how to clean rainwater, fish, build a tiny home, make a fire, shoot straight, navigate a drone — all of these things are just as important as coding on the blockchain. If you use fiat resources, they have a hold on you. You also may create an emotional attachment to a country to justify your submission to its nonsense.

The value you create in DAOs is yours. It does not belong to your country. More importantly, with the proper preparation, technology gives you the ability to defend your sovereign claim without getting into a war of munitions. Stay decentralized and anonymous and those pieces of shit won't have anyone to shoot or arrest.

Just some thoughts.
