Although it's fun to make fun of XRPtards for their idiocy, because they had to know a government investigation was coming, there is one thing that all investors should consider before completely moving away from XRP. I say this not as an XRP supporter, because Lord knows I'm definitely not. But there is one little thing that no one is talking about that may affect the outcome of what XRP is capable of after the SEC gets done raping them.
Most of the exchanges that delisted XRP only did so for US customers. People in locations outside of the US remained unaffected. The only exchanges that completely delisted XRP were the ones without the sophistication to distinguish US and non-US users. The overall effect is that XRP is less available on centralized exchanges serving the US, which certainly hurts its price in the short and long term. But it does mean that XRP has a chance to come back for its investors, although it probably won't.
As I've analyzed previously, Ripple/XRP investors are mostly US investors. These investors are driven by a racist strain of nationalism. That's important, as is the fact that Ripple/XRP principals are all Western citizens. It makes a difference because XRP could survive and even flourish if it were to take its pitch outside of the United States and the West. It won't, because its current userbase would not support the move and the principals are too far entangled up the ass of the United States to make a clean break and do business with China, North Korea, Venezuela, Ghana, Nigeria or Iran. These are countries that might actually benefit from the product Ripple has to offer.
US banks already have the technology to implement their own XRP as a digital middleman for faster transaction speed. JPMorgan has already created their own stupid coin for just that purpose (don't ever use it). Banks in competing countries outside of the SWIFT/IMF system may not have that. I don't know for sure, but you'd have to think that Venezuela is probably behind the Western curve for implementing banking technology, as their country was decimated by US sanctions. They are definitely looking for a way to compete. XRP could be that technology.
But!
Getting back to the racist nationalism of XRP principals and hodlers. Watching a Garlinghouse interview or an XRPtard Youtube video is like watching a slightly more literate episode of Honey Boo Boo. These guys are what nature [read: Chinese scientists] is trying to exterminate with the new strain of the COVID virus. These are people who would never think of taking their skill set outside of the United States for any reason. Garlinghouse skipped all of his international business classes in college, and his support mechanism never had international anything in community college outside of their cheap Made in China plastic seats. Ripple blew its whole business wad and 100% of its political capital on JPMorgan, Goldman Sachs and the like. They don't have the political will, the skill set or the leverage to engage China, Ghana, Japan, Singapore, Nigeria, North Korea, etc. and introduce XRP on demand liquidity to these competitors.
The world outside of the United States is still open to the Garlinghouse Gang. My bet is they won't take it. As I predicted previously, they'll pretend to fight the case, pay the fine, and accept crippling regulations from the SEC. They'll attempt to sell this hobbled company to their investors again, and they'll win over a few of them. XRP will pump for a few weeks, and you'll be able to make money if you're a good trader. Overall, however, this company, project and token are headed for the scrap heap. You hillbillies should be glad I'm giving you this perspective. You just might have a chance to pay back that second mortgage in 2021 sometime. Don't miss the chance. XD XD XD
