Sideways Summer?

Sideways Summer?

The crypto market seemed to be doing just fine, then I joined.

Just some random thoughts on the state of crypto...

What part of the Wyckoff chart are we actually in?

Do these multiple black swan events (pandemic, stimulus, societal shift) change that diagram in anyway? Could it be possible that everything is just fundamentally changing?

I know human emotion won't change, but have the underlying principles of our monetary system though?  The banks may be on thin ice unless they embrace the future. Otherwise they might get left to chase the rest of us. If that happens, MANY things will change.  Lots for the good, and surely some for the worse.

Even though I'm new to the space, whenever I hear people talk about the future of anything with certainty, or even that the past will repeat itself somehow, I can't help but doubt it.

Especially in today's world where things can change with a meme.  I have a feeling that the instant nature of de-centralized global communications is going to alter the way we approach not just money, but everything.

Usually, the past offers clues for us on how to use our best judgement to determine the future, but what happens when the entire system evolves while you're right in the middle of it?

The market is still just an abstract idea that exists in our collective heads without any real connections to physical products or services. This has always been the case, and makes me wonder if the 2021 bull run explosion (pre-crash) must have already had the retail stimulus value built in?

It's going to be a long summer of waiting as people attention in crypto gets shattered in many different directions. I know some people that gave up on crypto because it was too volatile and overwhelming.  I wish there was some real consolidation in the crypto scene to help speed up the innovation and get us to where we need to be, maybe I'm just being impatient?

I'm no financial expert by any means, but I think our entire digital landscape will be unrecognizable by 2025.  Will it make us as a society MORE or LESS susceptible to propaganda and misinformation?

It's a big question even outside of finance, will we as a society grow deeper divisions and lead to war? Or is there healing to come?

The answers are there, we just have to ask the hard questions.

I believe whole heartedly that we're in an industrial revolution...I just wish it would hurry the F up!
