Today I will be looking at how the AFCON tournament has gone so far, with the recent Quarter Finals completed. Quarter Final Results

This round some the giant killers Gambia see their journey come to an end, but they had a very good run to get this far. Hosts Cameroon have continued their journey and the locals must be delighted to see them going so far in the competition. Burkina Faso have continued their dream story and managed to win even when down to ten men. Two of the pre tournament favourites in Egypt and Senegal are still going strong, and the potential of Liverpool stars Mané and Salah meeting in the final is still possible.

Burkina Faso 1-0 Tunisia - Saturday 29th of January 

Gambia 0-2 Cameroon - Saturday 29th of January 

Egypt 2-1 Morocco - Sunday 30th of January 

Senegal 3-1 Equatorial Guinea - Sunday 30th of January

Semi Final Draw

Below is the fixtures and dates of the Semi Final. These games have been decided via the tree fixture layout with teams knowing who they can face all the way to the final.
