Good day everyone,

The second post in the game series was Sherlock Holmes: The Case of the Silver Earring
The third post in the game series was Sherlock Holmes: The Awakened
The fourth post in the game series was Sherlock Holmes Versus Arsène Lupin (aka Nemesis)
The fifth post in the game series was Sherlock Holmes Versus Jack the Ripper
The sixth post in the game series was The Testament of Sherlock Holmes
The seventh post in the game series was Sherlock Holmes: Crimes & Punishment
Sherlock Holmes: The Devil's Daughter
The eight game in the series, Sherlock Holmes: The Devil's Daughter, is set in 1896 and follows the events of The Testament of Sherlock Holmes. Sherlock is now taking care of Moriarty's daughter, Katelyn, while keeping her true origin as a secret. The game was released in 2016 for Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One.
The game begins in 1896, and follows on from the events of The Testament of Sherlock Holmes. Professor James Moriarty is dead and Sherlock Holmes is now taking care of Moriarty's daughter, Katelyn, and in doing so is keeping her true origin as a secret. A new neighbour moves in next door to Holmes, a woman by the name of Alice De'Bouvier. She befriends Katelyn, and in doing so beings causing emotional issues between Holmes and Katelyn. As the game develops and Holmes solves different cases, he ensures to discover the true identify of Alice's origin along with her true intention, and in doing so he must fight not to reveal a secret, but to keep one.
The game features five individual cases which are all separate from each other. Each case is self-contained and any moral choices made in one case does not relate to another.
You can first the previous cases here:
Sherlock Holmes: The Devil's Daughter - Case 1: Prey Tell
Sherlock Holmes: The Devil's Daughter - Case 2: A Study in Green
Sherlock Holmes: The Devil's Daughter - Case 3: Infamy
Sherlock Holmes: The Devil's Daughter - Case 4: Chain Reaction
Fever Dreams
This case begins with Holmes arriving home at 221B Baker Street only for Watson to inform him that he cannot locate Katelyn. She apparently went for her lesson but never arrived. Mrs. Hudson is out asking around the neighbourhood in case anybody has seen the girl, while Holmes searches Katelyn's room. He notices she has taken her diary and clothes, and while in a panic hears noises from Alice's home. He rushes out his door and is suddenly in a cemetery. After breaking his way through a locked door with an axe, Holmes is is Alice's basement. She is dressed in black mourning clothes and holding a train ticket stub. There is also chalk stains on her clothes, and Holmes notices items in her spiritual room are different compared to when he last entered the space. After Holmes has figured out what is different in the room, he realises that Alice may have gone to the cemetery to visit the crypt of her father, William Hamilton. Holmes believes she performed a séance there to communicate with him, and that possibly she brought Katelyn with her. Holmes informs an armed Watson to keep an eye on Alice while he goes to the cemetery to investigate the lead.
Holmes exits the basement room and finds himself in the cemetery once again. He races down the steps of William Hamilton's crypt to discover an eyrie scene. Alice has set up candles which Holmes detects have been burning for three hours or so. On the ground she has written out parts of a message in chalk, while there is also one of her spiritual books, a pentagram, and a portrait of William.
"Go to the old cemetery, and find the crypt on the crossing of four others: Felled by Bullet, Scholar of Roads, Earthdigging Giant, and Trampled by Feet."

Katelyn is nowhere to be found, and Holmes breaks through a wooden door to his right. Sitting at a table, to Holme's horror, is a mummified corpse of William Hamilton. Within the room is a box of his possessions, and a bed where Alice clearly sleeps! There is also another document regarding snakes on the table where the corpse is sitting, similar to what Holmes found where Rasco's gang had tunnelled into the Bank of England (Case 4: Chain Reaction). Holmes exclaims that Alice is clearly mentally ill, but still there is no sign of Katelyn.

Holmes goes back into the main room of the crypt and discovers Katelyn's suitcase. He also finds her diary, and while reading it sees how Katelyn was made to witness Alice doing a ritual to speak with her deceased father. Katelyn was scared and trembling while witnessing it, which infuriates Holmes. He exits the crypt to search for the one mentioned in the 'message' on the ground. Once Holmes enters the 'Old Cemetery' he must locate four crypts of the mentioned features from Alice's message - Felled by Bullet, Scholar of Roads, Earthdigging Giant, and Trampled by Feet. These refer to Henry Anthony Evans, Archibald Erwin, William Shaw, and William Fitzclarence. The four point out another crypt which Holmes must open up and enter.
Inside Holmes is greeted by a familiar voice, that of his nemeses, Professor James Moriarty! His voice is echoing through his crypt, explaining how he died at Sherlock's hands and is Katelyn's real father. His voice wills her to abandon Holmes and fulfil her destiny as the daughter of Moriarty. Holmes is fearful, and discovers Katelyn's ribbon along with a poem she wrote speaking of the unknowing demon hidden within. Holmes finds a strange book and a note regarding stars, but he is desperate to locate Katelyn. With nothing more to discover in Moriarty's crypt, Holmes decides he needs to return to Alices home and find out what she did with Katelyn.

Holmes goes towards the exit of the crypt but the doors slam shut and suddenly Alice's voice rings out around the room. She is her to kill Holmes and he should accept his death. No chance! Holmes yells out that she is a witch and devises a plan to escape the crypt. Holmes races along the wall and discovers a puzzle regarding astrology. Making use or a star device within the crypt, Holmes must light up a pattern similar to Moriarty's favourite one. After completing the puzzle a stairs lowers under the crypt, allowing Holmes to escape out through a tunnel. At the end of it and through a doorway, Holmes encounters Watson! He claims Alice tricked him, and left saying she had to go see a 'Madame Destiny.' Holmes realises its a boat and hastily leads Watson to the shoreside. They race out onto the pier and can see the ship is engulfed in flames out on the water.

Quickly the pair hop in a rowing boat and paddle out to the burning boat. Holmes jumps on board but instructs Watson to remain behind with the rowing boat as a mean of escape for them. Alice has Katelyn and Holmes is determined to save his daughter. Holmes manages to get into the ship to discover Katelyn tapped up on a ledge with Alice down below. Alice is trying to sooth the girl as they will burn to death on the ship. Holmes has other plans, and pleads with Katelyn to trust him. She is confused and lost, believing she is the Devil's Daughter because of Moriarty being her real father. Alice is poisoning the girl with twisted words, but Holmes convinces her that she is his daughter, she is Katelyn Holmes, that Alice is a crazed woman who keeps her dead father as a mummy. As the ship is going down Holmes swings over and rescues Katelyn and brings her to safety, with Alice left trapped inside the burning ship. Alice was the real Devil's Daughter according to Holmes, as he helps Katelyn into the rowboat with Watson and the three row away to safety as the ship explodes and sinks.

This is the end of the game and concludes the adventures of Sherlock Holmes - The Devils Daughter. I hope you enjoyed the cases as much as I did.
System Requirements
To run this game on your PC it will require a minimum of the following as per Steam:

As a little piece of trivia, Sir Arthur Conan Doyle became so rich and famous from Sherlock Holmes that he wanted to move on from the character. During a hiking trip to Switzerland, while at picturesque water fall he decided it was time to kill off the character. Over 20,000 subscribers of 'The Strand,' which published the Sherlock Holmes stores, cancelled their subscriptions upon the news of his death in 1893. After a number of years Doyle was in need of more money to sustain his lifestyle, and revived the character. The first new case was “The Hound of the Baskervilles” in 1900.
