The Party Is Still Going: Celebrate Splinterlands' 6th Anniversary!
Did you think that after two weeks the party was over and that the 6th Anniversary of Splinterlands was already just a distant memory?
Nothing could be further from the truth!
The celebrations are still going on and, indeed, the best is yet to come :)
From now until 31 May, it will be possible to take part in a series of contests and giveaways under the hashtag #ageofthebattlemage: the lucky winners will be able to win a lot of Rebellion set packs, the latest set released in Splinterlands.
Then, on 31 May, there will be a huge free tournament where all Splinterlands players are invited: again, there are lots of juicy prizes up for grabs for the strongest players who manage to place in the best positions:
1st Place: Runi + 5 Plots + 1,000,000 DEC
2nd Place: Runi + 4 Plots + 500,000 DEC
3rd Place: 4 Plots + 45,000 DEC
4th-10th Place: 1 Plot + 20,000 DEC
11th to 47th Place: 7,000 DEC + 2 Rebellion Packs
48th to 61st Place: 4,000 DEC + 1 Rebellion Pack
62nd to 138th Place: 1 Rebellion Pack
These are truly impressive prizes, as is often the case in all events organised by Splinterlands.
The only downside will be that the tournament will certainly see the strongest players taking all the prizes, across both main and secondary accounts, so for many it probably won't be worth participating... however, it's still a free tournament and luck might always give you a little gift :)
To stay up to date it is also worth following both the @splinterlands account not only on Hive, but also on X.com, as this is where our likes, reposts and comments will be most rewarded!
My 3 Years on Splinterlands
Actually, it's not exactly three years yet, but it's close: what's sure is that Splinterlands is the play2earn game I've been following for the longest time and my plan is to keep on doing it for a long, long time!
Over the years I have always tried to increase both my card collection and the number of SPS I own as much as possible.
With regard to the latter, my progress has recently improved, bringing me to an average of about 300 SPS per month: not bad at all!
To date, I am at 75% completion of my SPS accumulation target.
Reaching 10,000 SPS would indeed be a great achievement and would help me get even more rewards when I play.
Even on the card side I continue to make progress, with the Rewards Soulbound set now representing the most important part of my collection, thanks to level 5 and 6 Summoners and a lot of really strong cards, which allow me in the Wild set to easily play in the Diamond League (and occasionally in the Champion League) and in the Modern set to reach without efforts the Silver League.
This constant growth in my assets is also made possible thanks to the bot I use in the Wild format: after using Archmage's bot for a long time, a few months ago I switched to Xbot Lite which, for a slightly higher cost, has slightly better performance and, above all, takes only 15% of the SPS I get with each win.
As much as I hate bots and think they have done more damage to the game than anything else, I have to admit that using Archmage and Xbot has helped me a lot in keeping accumulating cards and SPS, allowing my account to thrive even when my playing time was 0...
With a Bit of Luck
And in all this I can't help but remember what was probably my best moment on the game: finding my first Legendary Gold Foil Card in a non-Rewards set!
I dedicated a post to this event, and I still remember the excitement and disbelief I felt when I found this card.
Its sale helped me buy Xbot Lite and many cards from the Chaos Legion set that I needed, including Adelade Brightwing at level 2!
But if I have to think of the card I am happiest to own, I have no doubt that this is a magnificent level 3 Quora Towershead which, thanks to the immunity ability, no longer really fears any enemies.
The victories I owe to this card are countless and I hope the future holds many more :)

La Festa Non è Ancora Finita: Celebriamo il 6° Anniversario di Splinterlands!
Pensavate che dopo due settimane la festa fosse finita e che il sesto Anniversario di Splinterlands fosse già solo un lontano ricordo?
Niente di più lontano dal vero!
I celebramenti sono ancora in atto e, anzi, il bello deve ancora arrivare :)
Da qui al 31 Maggio sarà infatti possibile partecipare ad una serie di contest e giveaway sotto l'hashtag #ageofthebattlemage: in palio per i fortunati vincitori ci sono tantissimi pacchetti del set Rebellion, l'ultimo set uscito su Splinterlands.
Il 31 Maggio si terrà poi un enorme torneo gratuito a cui sono invitati tutti i giocatori di Splinterlands: anche qui ci sono in palio tanti e succulenti premi per i giocatori più forti che riusciranno a piazzarsi nelle posizioni migliori:

Si tratta di premi davvero notevoli, come spesso accade in tutti gli eventi organizzati da Splinterlands.
L'unica pecca sarà che il torneo sicuramente vedrà i giocatori più forti accaparrarsi, tra account principali e secondari, tutti i premi, per cui per molti probabilmente non varrà la pena partecipare... tuttavia si tratta pur sempre di un torneo gratuito e la fortuna potrebbe sempre fare qualche piccolo regalo :)
Per restare aggiornati conviene inoltre seguire sia l'account di @splinterlands non solo su Hive, ma anche su X.com, perchè è qui che la nostra attività di like, repost e commenti potrà venire maggiormente ricompensata!
I Miei 3 Anni su Splinterlands
In realtà non sono ancora esattamente 3 anni, ma poco ci manca: quel che è certo è che Splinterlands è il gioco play2earn che seguo da più tempo e la mia intenzione è di continuare a farlo ancora per tanto, tanto tempo!
Nel corso di questi anni ho sempre puntato ad accrescere il più possibile sia la mia collezione di carte, che il numero di SPS in mio possesso.
Riguardo a questi ultimi i miei progressi sono ultimamente migliorati, portandomi ad ottenere di media circa 300 SPS al mese: niente male davvero!
Ad oggi sono al 75% di completamento del mio obiettivo di accumulo di SPS.
Arrivare a 10.000 SPS sarebbe infatti una grandissima soddisfazione e mi aiuterebbe ad ottenere ancora più ricompense quando gioco.
Anche dal punto di vista delle carte continuo a fare progressi, con il set Rewards Soulbound che rappresenta ormai la parte più importante della mia collezione, grazie ad Evocatori di livello 5 e 6 e tante carte davvero forti, che mi consentono nel set Wild di giocare facilmente nella Lega Diamante (ed ogni tanto in quella Campione) e nel set Modern di arrivare senza sforzi alla Lega Argento.
Questo costante incremento nei miei assets è reso possibile anche grazie al bot di cui mi servo nel formato Wild: dopo aver utilizzato per tanto tempo quello di Archmage, ormai da qualche mese sono passato ad Xbot Lite che, a fronte di un costo un poì più alto, ha prestazioni leggermente superiori e, soprattutto, si prende solo il 15% degli SPS che ottengo con ogni vittoria.
Per quanto detesti i bot e ritenga che abbiano fatto al gioco più danni che altro, devo ammettere che l'utilizzo di Archmage ed Xbot mi ha aiutato non poco nel continuare ad accumulare carte e SPS, consentendo al mio account di prosperare anche quando il tempo per giocare era pari a 0...
Con un Pizzico di Fortuna
Ed in tutto ciò non posso poi non ricordare quello che, probabilmente, è stato il mio momento più bello sul gioco: trovare la mia prima Carta Leggendaria Gold Foil in un set non-Rewards!
A questo evento ho dedicato un post e ricordo tutt'ora l'emozione e l'incredulità che ho provato nel trovarmi di fronte a questa carta.
La sua vendita mi ha aiutato ad acquistare Xbot Lite e molte carte del set Chaos Legion di cui avevo bisogno, tra cui Adelade Brightwing al livello 2!
Ma se devo pensare alla carta che sono più felice di possedere, non ho dubbi che questa sia una magnifica Quora Towershead di livello 3 che, grazie all'abilità immunity, non teme più davvero nessun nemico.
Le vittorie che devo a questa carta sono innumerevoli e spero che il futuro me ne riserbi ancora molte :)
