Selling More Rebellion Cards, While Looking for the Next CA Purchase

So far I’ve managed to add two cards from the Conclave Arcana set to my collection:

• Level 2 Abyssal Elemental
• Level 3 Molten Elemental

Both are Epic rarity and are regularly rented out at an excellent price, for an average APR above 40%:

My DEC thus keeps increasing and has now reached a value sufficient to make another purchase.

Before doing that, however, I also need to remember to keep selling my Rebellion set cards regularly, not only with the goal of raising more funds, but also because at some point their value will decrease… and I want to sell them before that happens!

Sell now so you don’t cry later

Selling cards that were carefully chosen and purchased is never fun: I spent time and thought over every single purchase, so letting go of a card is always something I do rather reluctantly…

And yet it’s necessary, because so far it has proven — at least for me — to be the best choice: keeping a card purely for emotional reasons has only led me to lose potential earnings.

Selling a card at the right moment, on the other hand, has helped me keep my collection up to date and productive, allowing me to preserve its value.

That’s why today I listed for sale all those cards that no one had rented in the last 30 days.

Among them there are also several Archons, but if their demand has dropped by now, there’s no point in waiting for their price to drop as well. It’s much better to sell them now at a good value, which will help me buy more useful and in-demand cards.

The cards you see above are 19 in total: I listed them all at the lowest market price, spending a total of 19 DEC, which I’ll easily recover by selling even just a handful of them.

And then it will be time to buy

That one is the emotionally difficult part, but the easiest one in practical terms.

After that comes the more complicated phase, because choosing what to buy is rarely easy.

In my experience, the cards that rent best are those where the market is not saturated, such as level 1 creature cards of common, rare, and often epic rarity.

These cards are actually hard to rent out, because there’s a lot of supply and all at the same price — 1 DEC.

The best cards are those at high level — usually the highest — but they are also extremely expensive.

Archons are generally a good choice, because they are the essential foundation of any lineup and tend to be relatively scarce. In the Rebellion set I focused on them, and it was the right decision, but in the Conclave Arcana set I’m not sure the same conditions apply, so for now I’m a bit hesitant to add any to my collection.

Another valid option is cards considered very strong, meaning those heavily used in the meta: sometimes they are legendary cards, other times lower-rarity cards at a specific level. The difficulty here lies in identifying them, and the main risk is that one day the meta may change and the purchased card could become much less relevant…

For my budget, however, this currently seems to be the best option, so these days I’m trying to identify one or more cards that, without being too expensive, have characteristics that make them desirable and strong in battle.

If my research bears some fruit, I’ll be able to find new cards from the Conclave Arcana set to buy and add to my collection, replacing those that I’m slowly selling off.

Vendita di Altre Carte Rebellion, Mentre mi Guardo Attorno per il Prossimo Acquisto CA

Per ora sono riuscito ad aggiungere due carte del set Conclave Arcana alla mia collezione:

• Abyssal Elemental di livello 2
• Molten Elemental di livello 3

Entrambe sono di rarità Epica e vengono noleggiate con regolarità ad un ottimo prezzo, per un APR medio superiore al 40%:

Il mio DEC continua così ad aumentare ed ha ormai raggiunto un valore sufficiente per effettuare un nuovo acquisto.

Prima di ciò, però, devo anche ricordarmi di continuare a vendere con regolarità le mie carte del set Rebellion, non solo con l'obiettivo di procurarmi ancora più fondi, ma anche perchè, ad un certo punto, il loro valore diminuirà... ed io voglio venderle prima di arrivare a quel punto!

Vendere ora per non piangere dopo

Vendere carte che sono state scelte ed acquistate con attenzione non è mai divertente: ho impiegato tempo e riflettuto su ogni acquisto che ho fatto, per cui liberarmi di una carta è sempre qualcosa che non faccio molto volentieri...

Eppure è necessario farlo, perchè finora si è dimostrata - almeno per me - la scelta migliore: conservare una carta solo per motivi affettivi mi ha portato a perdere guadagni e basta

Vendere una carta al momento giusto, invece, mi ha aiutato a mantenere la mia collezione aggiornata e produttiva, consentendomi di conservarne il valore.

Ecco perchè oggi ho messi in vendita tutte quelle carte che negli ultimi 30 giorni nessuno aveva noleggiato.

Fra queste ci sono anche numerosi Arconti, ma se ormai la loro richiesta è calata è inutile attendere che cali anche il loro prezzo ed è invece molto meglio venderli ora ad un buon valore, che mi aiuterà ad acquistare carte più utili e richieste.

Le carte che vedete sopra sono in totale 19: le ho messe tutte in vendita al prezzo più basso di mercato spendendo in totale 19 DEC, che recupererò facilmente dalla vendita di anche solo una manciata di queste.

E dopo bisognerà acquistare

Questa è la parte difficile a livello affettivo ma facile a livello pratico.

Dopo arriverà invece la parte più complicata, dato che scegliere cosa acquistare raramente è facile.

Nella mia esperienza le carte che si noleggiano meglio sono quelle di cui il mercato non è saturo, come le carte di tipo creatura di livello 1 e di rarità comune, rara e, spesso, epica.

Queste carte sono difficili da noleggiare, perchè c'è tanta offerta e tutta allo stesso prezzo - 1 DEC.

Le carte migliori sono quelle di livello elevato - di solito il più alto - che però sono anche estremamente costose.

Gli Arconti sono in genere una buona scelta, perchè sono la base essenziale di qualsiasi schieramento e tendono ad essercene pochi: nel set Rebellion mi sono concentrato su questi, ed è stata una scelta giusta, ma nel set Conclave Arcana non sono sicuro che ricorrano le stesse condizioni, per cui per ora sono un po' reticente ad aggiungerne qualcuno alla mia collezione.

Un'altra opzione valida sono le carte considerate molto forti, ossia quelle carte molto utilizzate nel meta: alle volte si tratta di carte leggendarie, altre di rarità inferiore ma ad un determinato livello. Qui la difficoltà sta nel riuscire ad identificarle ed il rischio principale è quello di vedere, un domani, il meta cambiare e la carta acquistata divenire molto meno rilevante...

Per il mio budget questa però al momento sembra la mia opzione migliore, per cui in questi giorni sto cercando di individuare una o più carte che, senza avere un costo troppo elevato, presentano delle caratteristiche che le rendano desiderabili e forti in battaglia.

Se la mia ricerca produrrà qualche frutto, troverò così nuove carte del set Conclave Arcana da acquistare ed aggiungere alla mia collezione in sostituzione di quelle che sto, piano piano, vendendo.
