How to Set Splinterlands' Theme on the InLeo Frontend

Personally, I love collaborations between different projects here on Hive. I believe they are a wonderful and incredibly useful way to strengthen the bonds between various communities, allowing each project to enjoy greater visibility and showing how Hive can be a united and cohesive place where the success of one project can help others grow as well.

So, I was really pleased to discover a few days ago that it’s now possible to set a new custom theme on the Inleo frontend, featuring the color chosen by the Splinterlands team as the most representative of the game, integrated into the various menus of this frontend.

If you’re a Splinterlands fan and use Inleo, you might want to try out this new color and see if it suits your taste!

How to set the new theme

It’s incredibly simple: once logged in to Inleo, just go to the menu on your left and click first on "More" and then on "Settings":

Once you’ve done that, you’ll see the window where you can customize your experience on Inleo. One of the first options you’ll notice is the one dedicated to the frontend's appearance, labeled as the "Appearance" tab.

Here, you can change the main color of the frontend by choosing from the available options:

• Red and yellow, the two classic colors;
• Blue, dedicated to the collaboration with Dash;
• Brown, dedicated to the collaboration with Splinterlands;
• 4 other colors available only if you have an active Leo Premium subscription.

If you select Splinterlands' color and save your changes, this is how your interface will look:

As you can see, many of the text elements are now brown, perfectly matching the Splinterlands style!

More or Less...

Yes, because while I truly appreciate initiatives like this, I must admit that brown as the color dedicated to Splinterlands might not be the best choice.

There probably isn’t a single color that truly represents the game, but to me, brown doesn’t really evoke Splinterlands—what about you? 😅

It would have been nice to see a bit more customization that really brought the spirit of Splinterlands into the Inleo frontend.

I understand they likely aimed for something simple and consistent with what was done for another project like Dash, but honestly, in this case, the brown feels like a bit of a missed opportunity.

Perhaps having the Splinterlands logo as a background could have been an interesting addition that would have made this theme much more engaging and appealing!

Come Impostare il Tema di Splinterlands sul Frontend di InLeo

Personalmente adoro le collaborazioni tra progetti diversi qui su Hive: credo infatti che sia un bellissimo ed utilissimo modo per rafforzare i legami tra le varie communities, consentendo a ciascun progetto di godere di una maggiore visibilità e dimostrando quanto Hive possa essere un luogo unito e compatto, dove il prosperare di un progetto può aiutare anche gli altri a crescere.

Mi ha fatto quindi molto piacere scoprire qualche giorno fa che sul frontend di Inleo è da poco possibile impostare un nuovo tema personalizzato, che porta il colore scelto dal team di Splinterlands come il più caratteristico del gioco all'interno dei vari menù di questo frontend.

Se siete degli amanti di Splinterlands ed usate Inleo potreste, perciò, voler provare questa nuova colorazione e vedere se incontra i vostri gusti!

Come impostare il nuovo tema

Farlo è davvero semplicissimo: una volta loggati su Inleo vi basterà andare nel menù alla vostra sinistra e premere prima su "More" e poi su "Settings":

Una volta fatto ciò vi troverete difronte alla finestra dalla quale è possibile personalizzare la propria esperienza su Inleo e una delle primissime voci che noterete sarà proprio quella dedicata all'aspetto del frontend, ossia il tab "Appearance".

Qui potete cambiare il colore principale del frontend scegliendo fra quelle a disposizione:

• il rosso ed il giallo che sono i due colori classici;
• l'azzurro dedicato alla collaborazione con Dash;
• il marrone dedicato a quella con Splinterlands;
• altri 4 colori disponibili solo se avete attiva una sottoscrizione a Leo Premium.

Se selezionate il colore di Splinterlands e poi salvate le modifiche appena effettuate, ecco come apparirà la vostra interfaccia:

Come si può vedere un sacco di scritte sono adesso diventate marroni, in perfetto stile Splinterlands!

Più o meno...

Sì, perchè sebbene apprezzi davvero moltissimo iniziative come questa, ammetto che il marrone come colore dedicato a Splinterlands forse non sia proprio il massimo.

Probabilmente non c'è davvero un colore più caratteristico, ma anche il marrone a me non ricorda molto Splinterlands, non so a voi 😅

Sarebbe stato bello avere qualche personalizzazione in più, che portasse davvero lo spirito di Splinterlands all'interno del frontend di InLeo.

Capisco che probabilmente si è cercato di fare qualcosa che fosse semplice ed in linea con quanto già fatto per un altro progetto come Dash, ma in questo caso onestamente il marrone sa un po' di occasione mancata.

Magari avere il simbolo di Splinterlands come background sarebbe stata una ulteriore aggiunta interessante, che avrebbe potuto rendere questo tema molto più interessante ed accattivante!
