A Temporary Stop to My SPS Purchases: Focus on Buying CA New Archons!

A few days ago I wrote about how my plan for the future is to start buying Archons from the Conclave Arcana set, so I can begin my transition to this new set and increase my passive income from rentals.

To do so, however, I've decided to focus on level 2 Archons, which currently seem to offer a great balance between purchase cost and generated yield, as shown by the data from the SplinterROI site:

With an average ROI around 50%, these cards would be a solid addition to my collection and would help me generate even more DEC to reinvest in cards or SPS.

The first card I've set my eyes on is Kavor Skarn, and today I raised the buy offer I had placed two days ago.

My offer is now the third-highest, which definitely makes it more appealing to potential sellers.

It's also still the only one suitable for someone wanting to instantly sell a level 2 card—which would be perfect for me, since my goal is specifically to get a card at that level.

Now the DEC I’ll earn will be set aside to place a new buy order for a different CA Archon, like Razi Clanktrap or Kaylia Silverleaf, who also seems to be in high demand.

However, this also means I'll have to put a stop—at least temporarily—to my regular SPS purchases.

A necessary pause

My resources are still limited, and spending 2000 DEC a month takes too big a toll on my finances.

If I kept up with that spending, it would take me much longer to complete the purchase of all the Archons I’m interested in—it wouldn’t be bad to own all six of them, even though it won’t be easy.

So I have to pause the SPS purchases and stop, for now, at 10,500 staked SPS.

It’s still not an amount I’m satisfied with, and the current low SPS price is quite tempting... but the ROI from SPS is much lower than what I get from renting out my cards, so in the end the decision, from a logical point of view, is actually quite easy to make.

That said, the growth of my SPS won’t stop completely, because I’ll still be receiving staking rewards which, even if modest, will slowly add to my SPS balance.

VOUCHERs, DEC from card rentals, DEC from SPS delegation, and (hopefully soon) 48.9 HIVE that I’ll convert into DEC will all be used only to purchase Archons from the Conclave Arcana set, in the hope that this will allow me to reach my goal in a few months: my estimate is about 6 months—not a short time, but not too long either, especially if I end up with cards that generate perhaps another 50 DEC per day in passive income!

Stop Temporaneo all'Acquisto di SPS: Focus sull'Acquisto dei Nuovi Arconti CA!

Qualche giorno fa ho scritto di come il mio piano per il futuro sia quello di cominciare ad acquistare Arconti del set Conclave Arcana, così da iniziare la mia opera di transizione a questo nuovo set ed incrementare la mia rendita passiva da noleggio.

Per farlo, però, ho deciso di concentrarmi sugli Arconti di livello 2, che al momento sembrano avere un ottimo compromesso tra costo di acquisto e rendita generata, come visibile dai dati generati dal sito SplinterROI:

Con un ROI medio intorno al 50% queste carte non sfigurerebbero nella mia collezione e mi aiuterebbero non poco a generare ancora più DEC da poter poi reinvestire in carte o SPS.

La prima carta su cui ho messo gli occhi è Kavor Skarn e oggi ho alzato un po' l'offerta di acquisto che avevo creato due giorni fa.

Adesso la mia offerta è la terza più elevata, il che la rende sicuramente più appetibile per potenziali venditori.

E anche ancora l'unica adatta a chi voglia vendere subito una carta di livello 2, il che per me sarebbe perfetto, visto che il mio desiderio è proprio quello di avere una carta a quel livello.

Adesso il DEC che otterrò comincerò a metterlo da parte per creare una nuova offerta di acquisto per un diverso Arconte CA, come Razi Clanktrap o Kaylia Silverleaf, che sembra anche molto richiesta.

Questo però significa anche che dovrò interrompere - almeno temporaneamente - la mia attività ricorrente di acquisto di SPS.

Una pausa necessaria

Le mie risorse sono infatti ancora limitate e spendere 2000 DEC al mese ha un impatto troppo grande sulle mie finanze.

Se continuassi a sostenere questa spese impiegherei molto più tempo per completare l'acquisto di tutti gli Arconti che mi interessano - non sarebbe male arrivare ad averli tutti e sei, anche se non sarà facile.

Devo quindi mettere in pausa l'acquisto di SPS e fermarmi, per ora, a 10500 SPS in staking.

Si tratta di un importo che ancora non mi soddisfa e l'attuale prezzo basso di SPS sarebbe anche invitante... ma il ROI generato dagli SPS è molto più basso di quello che ottengo dal noleggio delle mie carte, per cui alla fine la decisione, da un punto di vista logico, è in realtà molto facile da prendere.

La crescita dei miei SPS non si arresterà però completamente, perchè nel mentre continuerò a ricevere ricompense da staking che, anche se non elevate, contribuiscono comunque ad aumentare piano piano gli SPS in mio possesso.

VOUCHER, DEC dal noleggio delle carte, DEC dalla delega degli SPS e (spero a breve) 48.9 HIVE che riconvertirò in DEC saranno quindi utilizzati tutti quanti solo per l'acquisto degli Arconti del set Conclave Arcana, nella speranza che ciò mi consenta di raggiungere il mio obiettivo in qualche mese: la mia stima è di circa 6 mesi, che non sono pochi ma nemmeno così tanti, soprattutto se alla fine mi ritroverò con carte che mi generano magari altri 50 DEC al giorno di rendita passiva!
