Unboxing Netbox

By Jelly Fish | cryptofun | 27 Jan 2020

Last week I made a note about three Chrome-cloned browsers more or less wildly promoted here on Publish0x. If you read that note you might understand that I'm not very fond of any of the three.

Anyway, it turned out that in my situation Brave is unusable and Cryptotab is useless. I was forced to go with the third brother -- Netbox.

As a reminder: Netbox is a Windows-only Chromium clone of Russian ancestry with a built-in Netbox coin NBX wallet. If you install the browser you get free 20 NBX airdrop. In addition, if you install the browser via an affiliate link, you and your referer get 3 NBX after a week and 6 NBX after a month of using Netbox.

If you look at the Netbox'es website, you will see that Netbox is not only a Chrome-cloned browser with a built-in wallet but a whole "eco-system". The devs plan to add a blockchain-powered distributed storage service, blockchain-powered video streaming service, blockchain-powered payment-gate service, and some more. That is, Netbox is going to compete not only with its brother Brave browser but also with Google, Youtube, Paypal, not to mention smaller projects of similar functionalities, blockchain-powered and not. Well, quite an ambitious goal!

If you look at the Netbox team, you will see guys from some really known Russian IT companies, like Mail.ru and Rambler. I didn't dyor the team deep enough and simply presume they don't lie about their previous jobs. If it's true, the team really has some advanced IT experience.

Now just imagine the users dropping their Youtube, Paypal and Google Disk accounts for Netbox! I bet NBX token will then skyrocket to the moon!

The only small problem is that at the moment nothing of those great expectations is ready yet, except a cloned browser with a built-in wallet... And I don't understand who at the moment pays for the NBX token's party at the exchanges. Masternode wannabes??

Anyway, the token is tradable.

Moreover, the guys are so kind as to give 20 NBX (around 1 USD at the moment) for every fresh install, plus 1 NBX for install via a referral link, plus 3 NBX for weekly activity, plus 6 NBX for monthly activity, plus daily staking rewards, plus daily activity bonuses (i.e. when you use Netbox for surfing) -- shortly, a whole pile of free money!!!

I love free money, so I quickly set up a VM with Win10 inside, downloaded the browser via someone's affiliate link and started waiting for my free 20 NBX. They didn't come... Instead, I got a 1 NBX bonus and this:

Our antifraud filter noticed unnatural behavior. We have a sophisticated antifraud algorithm which takes into account users behavior. This algorithm prevents any attempts of faking the activity with the purpose to get rewards improperly. It detects users behavior which is unnatural, attempts to manipulate it, as well as the usage of virtual machines and lots more factors which we don't disclose for security reasons.

Well, the guys know what a VM can do... Anyway, the browser itself lives in a VM just fine, they simply don't give 20 NBX for VM installs.

So, I had to utilize my employer's PC with bare-metal Win 7. The installation process went smooth, it didn't even require "administrator rights". And after several hours I got my 20 NBX! Plus 1 NBX for using an affiliate link, plus "activity" bonus for surfing.

I felt inspired and found among my relatives another laptop with a bare-metal Win7 install. The installation was smooth again, only Win asked if I want its firewall to block the browser. I did. Anyway, even blocked, the browser worked as usual. The only problem was that I received neither 20 NBX nor 1 NBX again... I made the firewall to unblock the browser, but still neither 20 BNX no 1 NBX so far...

Among my relatives I have yet another bare-metal Win laptop, probably I will try to install Netbox there as well. I'm so eager to accumulate at least free 60 NBX!!!

Then I put all of them in staking and re-staking, and when my daily staking reward reaches at least 2 NBX -- I will go selling half of the reward at Crex24 and re-stake the other half.

Maybe with Netbox I will manage to accumulate some lump of money before the coin dies. And even without the need to watch ads or undergo KYCs!
