Big trouble for Justin Sun, Tron CEO sued for violating labor and harassment and illegal practices

Two former BitTorrent employees, a platform taken over by Tron in 2018, denounced the company's CEO, Justin Sun, for violating labor and harassment regulations; the news emerged following the dissemination of the judicial documents filed in California on 28 October.

The plaintiffs, Lukasz Juraszek, 28, and Richard Hall, 50, seek $ 15 million in compensation from Rainberry Inc. (the company that operates the Tron Foundation in California), Justin Sun himself and his chief of engineering, Cong Li.

The charges are decidedly heavy and range from dismissal without just cause, through racial discrimination, to harassment.

The two report in particular that they have suffered a hostile climate in the company and in the lawsuit, lasting about seventy pages, explain that in particular this climate would be attributable to racial discrimination due to their Caucasian origins.

If all this seems serious to you, know that it did not end here, because in the filing the two also report even more serious violations and I am not referring so much to the complaint relating to the dissemination of copyrighted material as to the fact that, as reported by two plaintiffs, the circulation of child pornography would have been allowed on the platform.

The charges, as anyone can understand, are very heavy and clearly have a criminal relevance; Juraszek reports that precisely as a result of his refusal to engage in practices that he considered to be patently illegal and unethical, the discriminatory climate in the company would have originated, which subsequently led to his dismissal.

On December 12 last, Sun, who clearly rejects any accusation, presented a response to the plaintiffs' requests, completely denying what was contained in the complaint and claiming that his actions as an employer were not only discriminatory at all but absolutely sensible and perpetrated for purposes. legitimate business.

Cointelegraph, who went online a few hours ago with an article that will certainly blow up huge controversy in the community, says he tried to contact Sun for comment, without having yet received an answer.

Meanwhile, for now, TRX's quotations do not seem to have taken the news yet, however if Sun's position were to further aggravate and details capable of supporting the accusations made against him emerge, not only the price of TRX could be heavily affected, but, given the seriousness of the accusations, in particular as regards the dissemination of copyrighted material and child pornography, as well as risking a millionaire compensation Sun risks ending up in prison for many, many years.
