A bit of Binance is added to Brave!
A bit of Binance is added to Brave!

Brave has officially announced a new partnership with Binance to bring cryptocurrency trading directly into the browser.

To allow this, a new widget has been created, which will be integrated directly into the browser's homepage, so as to make cryptocurrency trading easily accessible to all users.

It is the first integration of this kind in the world between a web browser and an exchange crypto and will allow the over 5 million users who use Brave monthly to have immediate access to the possibility of exchanging cryptocurrencies.

Brave also uses the BAT (Basic Attention Token) token, which in this way can be easily moved to Binance and exchanged with other tokens or cryptocurrencies, or sold, or whatever you want.

Thanks to the new widget, users will be able to access both Binance.com and Binance.us, buy and sell crypto assets, view their balances and obtain public addresses for depositing funds on the exchange without leaving the browser. It will also allow for purchases, deposits, trading and viewing of statistics. In short, as a sort of "Binance pocket".

The widget is integrated, i.e. not loaded remotely into an iframe, in order to allow the level of privacy guaranteed by Brave to be kept very high. API calls to Binance are used for use only if the user authenticates via OAuth and interacts with the widget. In short, the widget will only work on user request.

The widget has already been made available for the desktop version of Brave's Nightly, the more unstable version of Brave, and will be released for all other desktop versions in April. It will also be enabled by default, but will be disabled or hidden from users at will.

In the future it will also be available for the desktop version but a precise date is not yet known.

Given the importance of the union between Brave and Binance, the CEOs of both companies have issued a statement:

Brave CEO and co-founder, Brendan Eich, said:

"Cryptocurrency trading can be a daunting task for users who are unfamiliar with these assets, so the integration of Binance into the Brave browser makes the process simple and uninterrupted. By bringing an exchange leader like Binance directly into the browser, Brave is bringing cryptocurrency trading into the mainstream, and allowing users to conduct transactions with ease. "

Binance CEO Changpeng Zhao added:

"The Binance widget on the privacy-oriented Brave browser provides a safer way to buy and sell cryptocurrencies and also reduces user friction to enter, negotiate and interact with the Binance ecosystem. Our long-term partnership with Brave will allow us to make interacting with cryptocurrencies even easier and encourage more usefulness in the near future. "
