BitTorrent's crypto token?!

BitTorrent announces his own token

Well, this is no surprise, after BitTorrent was bought by TRON we all knew this would happen sooner or later. They stated that it would be called just as the company itself BitTorrent with the ticker BTT. It's obviously based on the TRON blockchain and has native TRC-10 compatibility. It's main use case scenario will be to provide enhanced download speeds and network optimizations for it's users.

"BitTorrent token is the first in a series of steps to support a decentralized internet," explained TRON founder and BitTorrent Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Justin Sun. He added, “In one giant leap, the BitTorrent client can introduce blockchain to hundreds of millions of users across the globe and empower a new generation of content creators with the tools to distribute their content directly to others on the web." - Binance Founder and CEO.

Right now, the BTT token is aonly available outside the U.S. and it's featured on the Binance launchpad program.

Also the token will be implemented into the windows verion of µTorrent client and the "BTT-enabled" clients will be compatible with all other clients using BitTorrent protocol.
