Everybody wants to know ‘The next big thing’ but as a Hodler and a realist I’m putting my faith in these 8 picks.
A couple of my holdings may or may not surprise some people but I tend to go with my own personal research and not a clickbait headline from the latest ‘pump’ or ‘dump’ video doing the rounds.
I’m not giving investment advice here and it shouldn’t be taken as such, always do your own research and educate yourself fully about any investment you make before parting with a penny of your money.
I’ve personally only changed a couple of my holdings since getting interested in crypto a couple of years back as my education has evolved as have my gut instincts.
So here goes, in no particular order
BAT (Basic Attention Token)
I got into BAT accidentally as I downloaded the Brave Browser and get paid in BAT monthly. I used to convert it to Bitcoin but am now HODLING as it impresses me as an investment in its own right.
BCH Bitcoin Cash
Bitcoin Cash excites me personally. As a future utility and investment it ticks a lot of the boxes that I look for and I am currently squirreling away as much as I can.
ZILLIQA
This was the first micro-investment that I made. I’ve read a lot of impressive info about the team behind it and even purchased a couple of .zil domain names at unstoppable domains as I believe they may become a potential asset of value in the future and they're still cheap. I’ve done okay so far with this pick and am keeping the faith with it.
CHAINLINK
I read a lot about LINK before getting involved in investing my money into it. Often overlooked by the ‘to the moon’ brigade of pumpers and dumpers, I’ve backed it as a steady medium/long term decent place to hold some of my cash.
AMPLEFORTH (AMPL)
It’s kind of handy that using this platform helps accumulate something I’m really interested in the prospect of. I value the supply elasticity and believe that the quality of the team behind it and the potential uses of Ampleforth make it a good hold.
ETHEREUM
Ethereum is my most studied investment. I bought at a good price when my fomo was telling me to stack more Bitcoin. I’ve been stacking Ethereum like crazy in 2021 as I personally believe that the coming new developments to overcome past criticisms (gas prices etc.) will see Ethereum do very well over the next few months.
XRP
I had a friend put me onto XRP and I can’t thank him enough. He has a huge holding and I respected the many hours of research he had done and now have a healthy holding that’s currently doing very well. I believe that keeping the faith with XRP will prove a very positive move.
BITCOIN
Whose portfolio would be complete with it? I personally believe that the growing level of adoption as a mainstream investment and the sheer number of institutional and private investors yet to purchase Bitcoin will keep Bitcoin as a solid investment. It’s the crypto that brought many of us to the table and I’m thankful and loyal to it just for that.
