If you've read my other articles you probably know by now that I have an affinity for cat-themed coins, and that applies to Cardano Native Assets as much as any other coin. So when I first discover Cardano's Native Tokens and was scrolling through the memecoins, as those are my favorite, I noticed this amazing coin simply referred to as $PURR. Well I had to invest just from the name alone!
The team behind CatKinson refer to the coin as a cat meme token, which should be preferred or at least equal in stature to all of these doggo coins, that they hope will moon despite not having any sort of plan, so they say. Though I don't think they give themselves enough credit on this as they seem to have some kind of plan based on their website, as they at least have a couple NFT collections and are planning a play-to-earn game.
They even acknowledge this with the following statement in their Roadmap:
We honestly wanted to do nothing but community is growing and showing love to CatKinson $PURR, therefore (against our willing) we feel like doing something!
With that kind of spirit you can do anything!
I want to note how much I love their horrible website. It looks like something from the early internet days.
As far as the actual coin, it isn't worth much, as they do acknowledge on their website. Currently it takes roughly 1.5 million $PURR to equal 1 ADA. This isn't very surprising considering there's a supply of 100 billion.
I'd say it's a fun coin with probably a comfortable community around it, and the aesthetic certainly is cute, but it's not much to invest in. Invest in this Cardano Native Token at your own risk.
