Hello Splinterlands Summoners and welcome to another edition of Social Media Challenge. Today I will be sharing two battles of the same ruleset using my favorite team.
First Battle: Uriel Solos the Enemy Team

In this battle, the rulesets were Noxious Fumes, Equal Opportunity and Fire and Regret. I used my usual team for dealing with Noxious Fumes ruleset. However, this will not be as easy because of the Equal Opportunity ruleset, my backline could be eliminated fast. Anyway, my usual team is composed of:
Uriel the Purifier
A strong tank with Heal abilities that can sustain him from Poison and enemy damage. He also has a thick armor that will be repaired by Adelaide Brightwing. His Flight ability helps him dodge enemy attacks while his damage output is insane.
Djinn Renova
She deals 3 magic damage, buffs the team with 1 health and has Triage to heal Iziar.
Adelaide Brightwing
The perfect pair for Uriel. She repairs his armor, has Immunity ability against poison and has the Resurrect ability.
Luceheim Demon
One of the reward cards that found a regular slot in my battles particularly in Noxious Fumes ruleset because of his high ranged damage and Cleanse ability.
Iziar
By far my favorite reward card from the previous set. At level 1 he brings a lot to the table and is a key card.
The Battle
My opponent chose the Death Splinter so it reduced the magic damage. It also reduced my health by 1. His damage dealers quickly eliminated my backline until only Uriel was left against five enemies. Fortunately he is already immune to poison because of Luceheim's Cleanse ability. Uriel was able to sustain himself with heal and dodge as he eliminated the opponent team (with the help of Noxious Fumes) one by one.

Second Battle: The Light Team in Noxious Fumes again

The Light Team is effective in Noxious Fumes ruleset and I use them when possible. Why change if it works? :) This time I used the Imperial Knight in the tank position because I thought Uriel was too fast and this is also a Reverse Speed ruleset. In the second position I placed a Venari Marksrat for his Martyr ability. In the third is Djinn Renova while Magi of Chaos took fourth position because of his less speed and high magic damage. As usual Adelaide Brightwing finds a spot in the team because of her Immunity ability. Taking the last position is Iziar. So basically the set up is the same as above but this time I didn't have Luceheim Demon to cleanse.
The Battle
I'm surprised that the opponent used Quix which in this ruleset gave a speed buff to my team. My faster team quickly cut his team down one by one and this win was easier than the earlier battle I fought above.

Conclusion
In Splinterlands, we don't just play against our opponent but the ruleset as well. Knowing how to take advantage of ruleset or avoiding buffing your opponent is key to a winning strategy in battle. Don't just pick teams because they look strong but they won't work in a particular ruleset.
Thank you for reading and have fun playing Splinterlands!
