Hello Splinterlands Summoners! For my entry in today's Social Media Challenge, I will share my favorite battle for the day. One of the things I like about Splinterlands is you can try to outwit your opponent by trying to predict the cards or Splinter that he will play. He may have the stronger deck but you still have a chance to win if you choose the right Splinter and cards.
In this battle I noticed that my opponent has maxed level summoner and he will likely play the Death Splinter. He also has strong attackers. My strategy is not a sure win but aimed to attack in front and hopefully it will be enough. Apparently he was also anticipating what I will play since he used a Queen of Crows to counter my archers.
Here are the conditions for the battle:
Ruleset: Standard
Splinters: Fire, Life, Death and Dragon
Max Mana: 42
I picked the Dragon Splinter so that I can use Carnage Titan in second position which deals 4 melee damage.

Here's the rest of my team:
Imperial Knight in tank position deals 3 melee damage, 6 shield and 7 hearts. He can heal himself and has Void armor which is complemented by his 6 shield stat.

Adelaide Brightwing in third position. I chose her mainly for support to repair the tank's Shield.

Uraeus in fourth position. His poison damage is very useful and can deal continuous damage to the enemy. I considered Scavo Hireling for additional repair but decided to deal damage instead of support.
Venari Crystalsmith in fifth positon for additional tank heal.

Pelacor Arbalest in the last position. His Double Strike ability usually deals a lot of damage but he is countered here by the opponent's Queen of Crows.

My opponents line up is formidable and even includes a Runi. I expected that he will use the Cursed Windeku in the tank position which has Thorns but I hoped that my tank's Shield will be enough to protect it.

The battle was a race with the opponent wrecking my backline while my team does the same to his frontline. Here's the battle:

It was an enjoyable battle which makes Splinterlands fun to play!
