Hello Splinterlands Summoners! In today's edition of Social Media Challenge I'll be sharing our recent Guild Brawl. As you know, Brawls is a battle against other teams where each member can earn SPS and Merits. This is another fun way to enjoy battles in Splinterlands while earning tokens. So if you're not part of a guild, better apply for one now.
My Performance and Guild Ranking
This time, my performance is not bad as I contributed 5 points out of 8 or more than 50% win rate performance. Each member who participated earned 5.7k Merits and 82 SPS.
Our guild placed third in the rankings earning 109 crowns to be used for improvement of the guild.
Spending Merits and Opening Gladius Case
I have 7,500 Merits, good enough to buy 3 Gladius Cases for 2,000 Merits each.
Each Gladius Case contain 5 cards with one guaranteed Rare or higher in each case.
I didn't get an epic or legendary this time but these are not bad. Notable and often used in game are Isgald Vorst, Orella Abadon, Sarius, Krash Wanderford and Katrelba Gobson.
Battles
A couple of battles that I won from the Brawl.
Battle 1
Here I was able to use my Gold Foil Fina Voxom. However she did not carry the team to victory. Rather, each member pulled their weight and helped the team to win. I'm happy to use most of the new reward cards. They are finding spots in my team and replacing the Chaos Legion cards.
Battle 2
A Water Splinter battle. I'm against the meta team of Possibilus + Coastal Sentry in second position. The ruleset is Explosive Weaponry so I used to units with Opportunity to maximize the Blast damage. In this battle, I have the slight edge because my units have more damage potential. Also, Commander Slade has the Reflection Shield ability so he does not get damaged by Blast.
Conclusion
The Guild Brawl happens weekly or twice every season. I earn a lot of SPS while also increasing my cards through the guild store. If you are not a member of a guild yet, you can find one from the Splinterlands discord channel. Quickly join one and enjoy the benefits of being part of a guild.
Thank you for reading and have fun playing Splinterlands!
