Hello Splinterlands Summoners! The last season in 2024 has just concluded. I managed to rank in Gold I and earned over 100k Glints.

Glint Shop

I bought a hundred Major Chests costing 1000 Glints each. While I got a lot of rare cards, I'm a bit disappointed that I didn't get even a single epic or legendary.

One good thing though is I was able to upgrade some of my common cards to level six and one rare card to level 5. They didn't get any new abilities though, just some additional stats.

Guild Brawl

Our last guild brawl for the year was also finished some hours later after EOS. We earned around 4,900 Merits and 62 SPS though our guild was in fifth place.

Gladius Cases

My combined Merits from Brawl and EOS rewards were a little over 18,000. I used it to buy nine Gladius Cases.

While I was unlucky in the EOS rewards chests, I got a legendary in the Gladius Case.

Another Larissa Kerato was added to my collection. One more BCX and I can upgrade her to level two.

Conclusion

This year was a fun year for Splinterlands. There were a lot of changes and improvements to the game as well as onboarding new players. Next year, we will be expecting the release of a new set. While I'm excited and hopeful, it remains to be seen if it will be successful as recent pack sales did not sell as much. One thing for sure though, the new set will introduce new characters and abilities and I'll discuss them in future posts.
