Hello Splinterlands Summoners and welcome to another edition of Battle Mage Secrets Weekly Challenge. For this week, the ruleset we have is Silenced Summoners: Summoners do not give any stat buffs or debuffs or grant/use any abilities.
The Ruleset

Silenced Summoners: Summoners do not give any stat buffs or debuffs or grant/use any abilities.
Close Range: Ranged attacks may be used in the first position in battles.
Available Splinter: Water
Max Mana: 19
My Team
This is a low mana battle with only one Splinter available. Thankfully, I have good Water and Neutral units that fit the mana requirement for this particular battle.

Xenith Monk
This is an easy choice to make for this battle. At only 4 mana, it deals 2 melee damage and has 4 speed and 7 hearts. More importantly, it can Heal itself allowing it to stay longer in the battle while my damage dealers do their business.

Uraues
This card only requires 3 mana but has a lot of useful abilities in its kit. It deals 2 melee damage and has the Poison ability allowing it to deal continuous damage after it infects an enemy unit.

Pelacor Bandit
One of the cards that can easily find a spot in the Water team. It only needs 3 mana but it deals 2 melee damage. It very fast with 4 speed and has the Sneak and Flying abilities.

Angelic Mandarin
I picked this card to protect agains enemy Sneak attackers. It has the Triage ability which heals units that are not in the first position. It can also deal 2 ranged damage and only need 3 mana.

Xenith Archer
There are better 2 mana cards in the Water team but this is the only one I have. This is only at level 1 so it has modest stats but it can still deal some damage.

Torrent Fiend
In the last position is a zero mana card. I include this card whenever I can whether to absorb enemy attacks or deal a little damage.
The Opponent
The opponent's team is not optimal for this battle. First he used a 6 mana summoner which does not make much sense since it cannot take advantage of its buffs anyway. Maybe he doesn't have a 4 mana Water summoner though. Also he used a high mana unit. While it can deal a potential 8 melee damage, his team's total damage output is still only 8 and once this unit gets eliminated then the battle will be over.
