Hello Splinterlands Summoners and welcome to another edition of Battle Mage Secrets Weekly Challenge. For this week, the ruleset we have is Shades of Gray: Only Neutral Monsters may be used in battles.
The Ruleset

Shades of Gray: Only Neutral Monsters may be used in battles.
Available Splinters: Earth and Death
Max Mana: 43
My Team
Considering the cards I have and the available Splinters to be used, I chose the Earth Splinter. I have some strong neutral magic units, a great tank and one of the best soulbound reward cards. Here's my team composition:
Legionnaire Alvar
Given the high mana requirement, I picked this tank which requires 9 mana to use. He is pretty good dealing a decent 3 melee damage while having 9 shields. He also has the Void Armor, Demoralize and Giant Killer abilities. I don't use him often but he shines in the Shades of Gray Ruleset.

Drybone Raider
In my opinion, the second best legendary soulbound reward card next to Iziar. Aside from Shades of Grey, I use this card often in a lot of rulesets like Equal Opportunity, Melee Mayhem and Super Sneak where it can hit the opponent four times.

Magi of Chaos

I picked this card for the raw damage it deals. 4 magic damage can reduce the enemy health in one turn.
Venari Spellsmith

I picked this card for another magic damage dealer. It also has Dispel which will be useful to remove any of my opponent's buffs.
Spirit Hoarder

Another magic damage dealer but also debuffs the opponent with Blind. It also has Triage and Dispel like Venari Spellsmith.
Uraeus

Uraeus is one of card I usually use with the Fire Splinter but also useful in the Shades of Grey ruleset. It only requires 3 mana but brings a lot of utility. It deals 2 melee damage and can poison the enemy.
The Opponent
My opponent has a lower level summoner but he has a powerful Gladiator card, a level 2 Tatyana Blayde. His Drybone Raider is also at a higher level than mine.
The Battle

My opponent used a common tactic by positioning a Venari Marksrat in front to buff his Tatyana Blayde with its Martyr ability. Tatyana is a very strong card that has melee and ranged attacks. With Close Range ability, she can hit twice and she easily eliminated my tank and was further buffed with her Bloodlust ability.
Checkout her insane damage potential, a total of 9 damage in one turn!

Thankfully, I have two units with Dispel ability and removed the buffs. Having taken cared of my opponent's trump card, my damage dealers went to work and eliminated the rest of my opponent's team.
