I previously wrote about my 100 day challenge that I started on 1 January of this year.
The 100 day challenge required me to start by saving 1 Rand (the South African currency), and increasing it by R 1 every day, continuing this for 100 days.
My calculations showed that my balance on day 100 would be R 5050.
(You can substitute the Rand currency for the currency of your choice - dollar, rupee, yen... . The calculated amount won't change.)
It's been a month and I have been disciplined and consistent. So, on the 1st of February, I decided to check in.

The image above shows my balance in my bank account.
So, after 31 days, my balance paid in is R 496.00 plus 59 cents of interest.
Doesn't seem like a lot, but it's the step-by-step, bit-by-bit move towards clearing my debt.
Today, I am going to deposit R 32 and my new balance will be R 528.59. Tomorrow I will deposit R 33 and my balance will be R 561.59.
The benefits of this to my psyche and state of mind is far greater that the whole 59 cents of interest that I earned in January
I know I've got this and I an working to reduce....,nay,....eliminate my debt in the near future.
