even if everybody is busy with the marge, with the recent pump, I would like to share what's coming to Cosmos Ecosystem in the next weeks or months: in no particular order.
Near x Cosmos
Yes, you hear it right: sharding masters Near Protocol will be connected to Cosmos Ecosystem through IBC. Probably through Octopus Network.
Octopus Network Appchains are interoperable out-of-the-box with Ethereum, NEAR, and any Substrate IBC-enabled blockchains, such as Polkadot and Cosmos.
By the way, you might have missed it but Kusama x Polkadot bridge is done through IBC. Such a powerful piece of suite, right? You can check this medium article for more info.
Atom 2.0 Announcements
Cosmoverse (yet, biggest Cosmos event) will happen in Medellin (Colombia) between 26-28 September. There will be sure lots of interesting events, and hackathons but strangely they will announce some bigger stuff as well.

Delphi Digital Goes to Cosmos
This might be quite an important piece of news. Delphi Digital announced that after the Terra crash, their search for a home ended by deciding it's the Cosmos Ecosystem. They have published detailed research, which you should take a look at, and also for detailed information about the blockchain landscape in 2022.
Delphi Digital is an important player in the scene; "an independent research boutique providing institutional-grade analysis on the digital asset market."
Liquid Staking getting crowded
Probably the first comer is Pstake Finance, it's probably not well known among Cosmos users, it's a cross-chain liquid staking platform if you don't know. There is a kind of a race currently between different native Cosmos protocols, especially between Stridezone and Quicksilver. While patient stakers waiting for their airdrops, Stridezone already rolled out its liquid staking, and you can currently LP stATOM & ATOM at frontier.osmosis.zone.

Probably this is all you need to do right now. By the way, as you see, there is one catch: you won't be eligible for the airdrops if it's not specifically indicated. We'll see, how it will go.
