Stride Zone - Interchain Liquid Staking

Stride Zone, multichain liquid staking airdrop info revealed

By Cosmonauta | Cosmonaut | 16 Aug 2022

After Quicksilver launch and airdrop news, it seem like we have another drop in the making, indeed another liquid staking protocol in Cosmos. It seem like it won't be generous as Quicksilver Protocol, since they are airdropping %6.5 of their genesis total token supply. Anyway, snapshot taken at 14th of  August and 6.5m token will be dropped, in 2 weeks.

To be eligible for this airdrop, you need these assets to be staked by the time of the snapshot.

  • ATOM (Min: 10 ATOM, max: 4,200 ATOM)
  • OSMO (Min: 85 OSMO, max: 43,000 OSMO)
  • JUNO (Min: 16 JUNO, max: 8,300 JUNO)

You can check their original twitter thread here.

There is one last thing that you might be happy if you are reading this; non claimed airdrops will be redistributed to the first airdrop addresses who claimed the airdrop. If you don't claim your tokens in one month... sorry for you.

But wait, what is Stride Zone?

Stride is a blockchain ("zone") that provides liquidity for staked assets. Using Stride, you can earn both staking and DeFi yields across the Cosmos IBC ecosystem.

Stride will use stTokens across whole Cosmos ecosystem. For now that's all of it, plain cool interchain liquid staking using Interchain Accounts (ICA). If you want to dive deeper take a look their docs and don't forget to follow their twitter for latest news.
