MXC - Machine Exchange Coin - The Future of IOT

When it comes to the Internet Of Things, most people have only heard of IOTA. Whether you love it or hate it, it's worth keeping up with what else is happening in the IoT field, especially with the recent complete shutdown of IOTA's network.

MXC - Machine Exchange Coin

MXC (not to be confused with the exchange by the same name) is a very promising player in the IoT space, whether you're interested in the technology, an investment opportunity or a future passive income stream.

Here's what their website says:

MXC is building a global data network that allows the devices of tomorrow to connect, commit and communicate more efficiently than ever before.
Cities, companies and individuals benefit by building the network, or using it to transmit and manage their data.

The team of this Berlin-based company is constantly hustling and travelling around the world, signing deals to make cities like New York or Shanghai smarter. They are really not sitting on their butts...

What are they buidling?

Imagine garbage bins that manage their own collection schedule.

And imagine you, as a resident, earning a passive income for contributing to the infrastructure and providing connection points that allow the necessary data to be collected from the garbage bins in your neighbourhood?

Pretty fascinating.

If you don't find garbage bins that relatable, how about earning a passive income while you're walking your dog? Okay, maybe you would call that an active income ;) but hey, you get paid for walking your dog!

Aaah, I love the future!!

I should really get a pet...

Traders and Investors: The MXC token is still less than a cent right now...

When I started this article, it was at 28 satoshis. Right now, as I'm typing this, it is at 40 satoshis.

No financial advice, as they say. Just facts.

Want passive income?

Check out the supernodes that you can either run yourself (you need to apply and campaign for votes) or that you can join by staking MXC tokens.

The MXC Wiki contains more information on that, as well as this tutorial on YouTube:

What do you think?

  • Have you heard of MXC before?
  • Are you already staking tokens?
