By Coins Reporter | Coinsreporter | 6 Feb 2024

Yes, it should be a red letter day in the history of Blockchain. It's a meet up of DNS with ENS, Web2 with Web3, GoDaddy with Blockchain Technology. This will definitely mark the shift from unacceptable to more or less needed attachment in upcoming days.

Change the Idiom change everything to Bitcoin

We can easily notice that the world is now becoming more and more open to blockchain. Recently we witnessed a series of such milestones that would leave a lasting impression on blockchain industry and will allow Bitcoin and crypto go mainstream. First of all, the approval of spot Bitcoin ETF, secondly Google re allowing Bitcoin and Crypto adds, additionally Forbes integrating a Web3 wallet - all of these are marked with a shift from naysaying to accepting the current wave of blockchain tech.

On February 5th, GoDaddy partnered with Ethereum Name Service to link ENS-enabled names to web domains for users. In case you don't know, ENS simplifies complex wallet addresses into human-readable names. This partnerships will enable only TLDs or top level domains to integrate a decentralized ENS web wallet. Eventually this will cost nothing extra to users and it's a win win addition for them.

Additionally, this type of partnership with traditional business giants will definitely foster more faith in digital assets or Cryptocurrencies. Gone are the days, when someone selling products in exchange of Bitcoins would require to paste a complex string of letters and numbers, instead, you just need single identity for multiple Crypto-currencies. An ENS address is very much same as a domain address and you can even your website's domain name as your wallet address. For example, 'yourdomian.eth'.

ENS also mentioned that a new set of blockchain smart contracts will also allow the owners of DNS domain names to use as names in ENS. That means any domain name can both be a web address and also a name of wallet address.

On the news of the partnership ENS soared more than 20% in a few hours.

For more information regarding the integration og DNS with ENS, you can go to the official website of ENS here.

Take a look at what GoDaddy CEO has to say about the partnership:

""Partnering with ENS presents our customers with a unique opportunity to experience the fusion of domains names and blockchain technologies, bringing some great benefits for users in both areas."

Obviously, his words are marked with optimism and futuristic vision to what blockchain can foster to the internet. Above all it's a victory for all of us, so ets celebrate and yes if you have a website, move your domain to GoDaddy and integrate ENS.
