Publish0x - Newcomer Advice & Etiquette for Readers

By Timmytushoes | CasualCrypto | 9 May 2021

Hey guys, to add to my Publish0x set of posts, I've decided to add a bit of advice for both Readers and Authors, we'll start with an article geared towards readers! This is more to expand on some information that is slightly more detailed than the initial introduction. Many regulars of Publish0x will already know most of this, but hopefully some newcomers benefit from this post, as some of this information is not regularly available.

Advice for Readers
  • Set a routine if you're interested in earning. Try to check out Publish0x on your phone throughout the day, tip daily and use your maximum tips each day. This will maximize your earnings and just make it feel more natural, creating good habits of keeping up with crypto related news, which will help you make better and more informed decisions within the space. Win Win!
  • I recommend tipping at least 50/50, as this tends to get you about .01 and .01 for the authors as well, I think this is the minimum distribution you should be applying to tips, as the additional .003 cents doesn't really seem worth it in the grand scheme of things, and it's good to reward authors, or else there'd be less articles for you to tip and less relevant information, as the payout doesn't reward high quality posts.
    • The above being said, you DO receive additional bonuses to the first tips of the day, and so no judgment on the first two, you do you. I try to do 50/50 all the time, for fear of a 'slippery slope' type scenario, and as both a author and a reader, I want what's best for both readers and authors!
  • Don't just tip and move on from an article. If you're here, learning about crypto and trying to find entry points, actually read these articles, some of them will be indispensable to your Crypto education. By simply scanning and acquiring tips, you're only succeeding at amassing crypto, you're not amassing any knowledge about the space or how it works by doing that, and this leaves you susceptible to losing that crypto on poor decisions when you finally CAN use it. You may of course ignore this tip if crypto isn't really an interest.
  • I recommend checking both the New & Popular sections each day, while choosing your tips, ESPECIALLY if you're a newcomer. You WANT to see the variety of posts and content, because it may motivate you to begin writing as well. You also want to experience more than just the Popular section, but you may not know what you're looking for. I've come across interesting articles about NFT games and other things by simply clicking the New section and checking out the first couple of posts each day.
  • Don't be afraid to comment and ask questions. Many blogs on Publish0x are especially social, and the NFT and Crypto community is overwhelmingly eager to introduce and share knowledge with each other.
  • Follow your favorite blogs to show support. If you like what somebody's doing, follow it. This is a blogging site, it's not social media, don't worry if you're following more people than follow you. You're collecting a list of writers that you enjoy seeing and that will make it easier to find them again!

Hey guys, thanks for reading this article, please tip and consider following if you like what I'm doing! I will strive to post at least weekly with new information and resources to utilize within the NFT and Crypto space. This information will be focused on a casual interaction between NFT and Crypto, with an interest in free, or micro-invested methods to get your foot into the door of owning these types of assets.

I would consider myself a casual crypto and NFT investor, with very limited experiences into each. I am focused on free, or very low capital investments, and finding and creating opportunities for others. I am a contracted graphic designer and artist.

This is a blog specifically focused on the 'casual' cryptocurrency or nft person, that is, someone who is either new, and rightfully cautious of the area, risk-averse investors, and others who'd simply like to experience NFTs, Cryptocurrency, etc. in a safe way, without having to blow the bank. This blog is for alternative crypto interests, more so for gamers, micro investors, artists, and other aspects of NFTs and Crypto that don't fall under the concept of investing.
