Brave Browser - Ad Free Internet Browser OR Earn BAT for non-invasive ads as rewards!

You guys want free Crypto every month? Just for doing something you already do anyways? Does this sound sort of like one of those weird infomercials with the Shamwow guy? Well look no further:

Brave Browser is a great place to start earning micro amounts of crypto for doing something you already love: Browsing the internet.

What is it?

Brave Browser is similar to Google Chrome, in fact, it's made on the same engine, essentially, using Chromium. This little tidbit is SUPER interesting BECAUSE Brave Software was co-founded by Brendan Eich, creator of JavaScript and co-founder of Mozilla (Firefox), and Brian Bondy, formerly of Khan Academy and Mozilla. So the guys who made and were a part of Firefox chose to utilize Chromium for their next browser. Interesting.

How do I earn Crypto with it?

This also means it naturally blocks most ads, however, you are able to enroll in a non-invasive ads program called Brave Rewards, which will pay you for allowing them to send a notification, up to times per hour (You can choose). You then earn between .01 and .05 per ad! Many are making about $5 a month, simply browsing the internet.  I have personally made about $3 off of it at the time of this writing, over the space of just under a month.

Look, a free $5 is nothing to scoff at for many micro investors, and I think that this is perfect to showcase here on CasualCrypto, as it is a great, free, and easy way to gain access to BAT, Brave Attention Token, which is a cryptocurrency that Brave owns. This currency is used to tip content creators on the web, and to reward audiences for viewing ads, and serves as a highly functional currency for their browser, generating traffic and partnerships.

Is there a Referral Program?

Brave Rewards does not have a referral program, so you can simply go to the link here, and sign up and install your browser and begin using it now! This is also available for Android and iOS, so you can browse and earn on your phone as well.

Do I recommend this?

This is one of the easiest, and one of the few free ways to earn consistent currency, and its done simply via browsing the internet! I think this is a must-have for any micro investor or any casual crypto fan who'd like to own their own currency, and I am super excited about the future of this browser and its currency. I don't see it ever being worth a huge amount, but the point would be that you're generating tradable, ownable cryptocurrency, which you can use for games like Splinterlands, and for trading into different types of currency. It may only be cents a day, but those dollars a month can add up to new investments.

So give it a go!

Where do I turn on Brave Rewards?

Once you have installed and opened Brave Browser, you can navigate to the Options menu, which is in the top right corner, and looks like 3 horizontal bars. From there, you can click on Brave Rewards and choose your options, which you can choose from 1-5 Ads per hour, and you can choose to contribute a small percentage of your earnings as tips to your favorite sites you visit. You can, of course, turn this off. I am doing so currently until I reach 25 BAT, but I believe that it should eventually be turned on, in order to complete the cycle of its value proposition (which will help it get adopted by more advertisers, and thus, increase its value, rather than decrease it).

Future Articles

I will be creating multiple articles relating to BRAVE in the coming weeks. I will create an article on creating an Uphold Wallet when I have the available currency, which is a minimum of 25 BAT. As you can see, I am currently at around 3 BAT, so this one will be a while but I am hoping to have it within the next 6 months or so! I will be creating monthly updates on my BAT Earnings, along with other earnings and savings, and I will create a 1 year reflection article next year, detailing my collective experience of the Brave Browser. In this article, I will review BOTH the browser as an application and the BAT Earnings and their usefulness/functionality. These will be linked below when they become available!

How do you rate this article?

I would consider myself a casual crypto and NFT investor, with very limited experiences into each. I am focused on free, or very low capital investments, and finding and creating opportunities for others. I am a contracted graphic designer and artist.

This is a blog specifically focused on the 'casual' cryptocurrency or nft person, that is, someone who is either new, and rightfully cautious of the area, risk-averse investors, and others who'd simply like to experience NFTs, Cryptocurrency, etc. in a safe way, without having to blow the bank. This blog is for alternative crypto interests, more so for gamers, micro investors, artists, and other aspects of NFTs and Crypto that don't fall under the concept of investing.
