RollerCoin is holding a contest to refer new players
"The Road to One Million" contest going on now rewards players who refer new players to the game. If you are interested in a referral: CLICK HERE
The TL;DR for RollerCoin rewards is free BTC, ETH and DOGE coins, very similar to a crypto faucet.
Right now there are roughly 980,000 registered RollerCoin players and the contest will continue until 20,000 more users register. If you are new to RollerCoin, that also means you can still be among the first million players in the world!
RollerCoin is a Virtual Mining Pool Simulator and Game
What does that even mean? Well, for starters I would say 'game' is the most important part to understand. This is not an investment vehicle, it's not special mining software, it's not a DeFi yield farming dapp or anything like that. At its core, RollerCoin is like an MMORPG where each player can increase their Hash Power (HP) by playing games or buying miners. The larger a certain player's HP as a share of all players pooled HP, the more in-game rewards that player will earn. Rewards are distributed to players about once every ten minutes. Players can also earn daily crypto rewards by referring new players, especially those who play actively - not just as a temporary contest reward.
What is Hash Power?
In RollerCoin hash power is the metric that players use to compete for rewards. The concept is very similar to the way hash power determines pool rewards for actual Bitcoin, Ethereum and Dogecoin mining pools. Instead of relying on ASICs, GPUs, or other special hardware to perform fast calculations that increase hash power, RollerCoin relies on players to buy virtual miners and to play games in the RollerCoin arcade. The biggest challenge for real and virtual miners is essentially the same:
Balance your time + money invested to maximize your hash power.
How much does RollerCoin cost?
RollerCoin is "free to play" but it's also "pay to win." Games in the RollerCoin arcade are free and can raise your HP significantly every day. Those who play games only will not get the majority of rewards, though. I don't write that to encourage new players to purchase miners with RLT (the in-game currency) but to clarify that when you look at the leaderboard of this game - the 'High Scores' - these are people who spent real BTC, ETH, DOGE and USDT already. It could be a long time before they break even, but they'll be legendary...maybe?
Don't feel like you need to be top 20 in a game of 1 million players to have fun and earn a bit of free crypto.
Is RollerCoin fun?
I feel like this is an important question to answer before going further. If you want to buy crypto, you'll get it quicker, that is for sure. RollerCoin is lots of fun for me because the games are quick, increase in difficulty, and have an 8-bit nostalgic feel. It's cute and feels approachable. On the other hand, playing RollerCoin arcade games for hash power alone can be time-consuming, repetitive, and boring. If you're not having fun to start this game, it's probably not going to be more fun later. I still think it's a great way for people to learn about crypto and mining without spending all the money it costs in the real world. It's free, so if you give it a go and it's not for you, that's okay too.
RollerCoin has their own FAQ, of couse. The game is already three years old and I feel pretty lucky to have found RollerCoin before it got big. Maybe like finding BTC or ETH or DOGE before they got big? But hamster size.
