Human creative potential, different forms of communication combined with technology, and community power move me. We all in unison create far more complex things that our parts. We are social beings discovering new forms of expression, making sense of the relationship between elements, environments, and new ways of communication. Art without a previously established narrative in itself but as a space that invites curiosity and introspection is in my belief humanity's biggest asset.

Hello World! Processing is a documentary based on a series of interviews with figures of the Processing open programming platform community and focuses on creative coding, the role that process, experimentation, and algorithm play in it. The documentary is a continuous stream of archived references, projects, and concepts shared by this community.

This documentary explores the creative possibilities expanded by open source tools and the importance of their growing online communities, but also and I found this quite amazing, it explores at least in my mind, code assuming mutant and organic configurations after being asked to interact with itself creating like we do far more complex things that its individual parts.

41 mindblowing minutes with a pen and a notebook in my hands (:

Worth watching, hope you enjoy it as much as I did!
