[After the 2 days waiting period to associate my NEO Address with my Narrative account, I ran for my Point Redemption and redeemed a part of my rewards. In less than a day the Rewards Redemption request has been processed. I wasn't expecting it to be so fast. The 10 day waiting was a worst-case scenario notice, but less than 12h is awesome!
I already had plans to use my NRVE but was aware that fluctuation in price could happen, and it did. Markets are extremely volatile and NRVE in 24h falls 27,78 %. Despite that, I went to Bilaxy to set up my account, understand its environment and in due time sell. I wasn't able to create an account because in the signup Bilaxy asks for a code that supposedly goes to our email account, and the code never arrived. So two more options Switcheo or Latoken. In previous researches about exchanges, I read some bad reviews about Latoken regarding support, so I will definitely go for Switcheo.]
All this process, between the time I waited for the email that never came made me think about markets, investments, and crypto phobics.
Entering the rabbit hole
In the ideal world that my mind sometimes dreams the whole monetary system would be unnecessary, or at least not exist as it is. For this, a deeply personal inner work, as well as collective work, should take place. Deprogramming all the lies created to feed a system that doesn't work in a balanced way and then programming a whole new mindset. It would be necessary to do a whole social reform, which would be a Herculean task, even a fight against the brain's own defense structure. It's easier to perpetuate and nurture addictions than to restructure neuronal bonds for a healthier life. Not to mention all the cultural differences and the interest of those who control the great mass of the world population. This change is already happening in a micro-scale. But it can be daunting to escape the rat race.
If we google about wealth and how to make money, we are bombarded with an overwhelming amount of information that could take us this life and another to read and dissect, attempting to separate the husk from the grain. This happens to me and to a vast majority of the world population. A determining factor for the general ignorance about economy and money comes from a public education that aims to educate the majority to serve as 'food' for a minority, not questioning the authority, and consuming.
If you are born into the less fortunate side of the social experiment you are told to save money, and then bombarded with dopamine manipulation united to a feeling of inferiority. So you go and spend all the money you have. You are told to save but not how to invest or to invest in what will feed the system, disguised as propaganda to save for retirement.
Think about tomorrow! Carpe diem my friend!
When someone is educated to serve without realizing that they are doing it and tries to understand how the system works, they will find several traps. Some are easy to identify, delivered by those who also don't understand deeply how the system works and are trying to find the holy grail that will take them from the social injustice of being brainwashed to serve. Crapy blogs, plagiarism, get rich schemes... Some are honest and really believe they found a solution to stop the paycheck to paycheck loopy life, but don't know how to sell. Some are really nasty and do all they can to deceive.
Other traps come from cool knowledgeable people that retired at the age of 30 and live an amazing life provided by the safe investments they do. Seamless step by step content that motivates and secretly directs the unwary to affiliate links that belong to big credit corporations. Guess what, taxes are everywhere. And they exist for compensating the big investors for their altruistic wealth creation. Investors create opportunities and are compensated by not paying taxes because public education is programming the operating system that pays.
"I just sit in my office and read all day" Warren Buffett
Wow, but if they can...
So you become an entrepreneur. You create a website, live on a budget to invest in it, you study so you can add value to what you do, you monetize it, you pay the electric bill, Internet, groceries, taxes included and at the end when you start to make money from your effort, you will pay taxes!
This is legal and institutionalized theft, especially if those taxes aren't being used to provide better social conditions such as good health, well-structured and green transport networks, social reintegration, fair reforms... But taxes are used to inject capital into banks. Rat race all the way! And it's an unfair and violent race. Always remember do not question authority! And even if your taxes are wrong because the tax authority made a mistake, you will have to pay upfront and then they will compensate you later. Legal and institutionalized theft.

A message to all crypto phobics
Dear crypto phobics, people that think cryptocurrencies are a “scam”, “fraudulent”, “fake”, “it doesn't exist”, I invite you all to read about fiat money, its origins, why that piece of paper has value. Do you think if we all withdraw the money we have deposited in banks, there are enough piece of paper to cover these withdrawals? Did you ever read your bank account contract or that credit you signed, small letters included? Did you fully understand it? Are you aware of what will happen if you fail to pay that credit? Are you sure?
"It is well enough that people of the nation do not understand our banking and monetary system, for if they did, I believe there would be a revolution before tomorrow morning." Henry Ford
Dear crypto phobics it's all a game! That few players know how to play but that those few players only play because you and I deposit our trust in that game, but for us is not a game!
I invite you to think about it, and then I invite you again, but this time to read about cryptos, within this new era of technology the difference is that you if you wish and if banks don't put their dirty old hands and ruin everything, this is a game that we all can play.
"Earth is abundant with plentiful resources. Our practice of rationing resources through monetary control is no longer relevant and is counter-productive to our survival." Jacque Fresco
Here is the part where my brain starts to loop! Do I wish to play this game? Is it possible to 'money' ever be truly decentralized? What if our communication, our vocabulary, instead of evolving for and by commerce, evolved in a different direction and with a different purpose?
Is this the real life?
Is this just fantasy?
Caught in a landslide
No escape from reality
