Poetry is the journal,

All truths stuffed in a kernel.

Only those who care to know,

Will understand the complex glow.

Unraveling upon these pages,

Appreciation to last the ages.

For those who dare to care,

They shall know all that is there.

From within the core they flow,

Thy heart's treasures need a place to stow.

Family has been only this since long ago,

A trust found only by pen at eleven or so.

A sharing that shall always be,

Experience will bear fruit to thee.

It is this pen that holds the key,

Simply and only unlocking me.
