Recently Cryptobrewmaster added Events to the game. They are mostly different, but basically it's all about doing certain activities in the game to get event points, to climb up the ranking and finally, if you were good enough, to win prizes.
In the picture above you can see the event calendar. It shows from when to when which event is running and allows you to quickly access the information about this event. You can find it on the table in the pub:
As you can see there are three events running at the moment: Busy Bee, Wholeseller and Top Manufacturer. These events are (in order) about completing as many and good quests as possible, selling as much beer as possible and producing as much beer as possible.
If you click on one of the bars in the calendar, you will get to the event details. These show how long an event is still running and what exactly the tasks are:
Some events, such as Top Manufacturer, simply count the number of something, for example beer produced. Other events, like Busy Bee, give you points depending on other conditions, but these are explained when you click on the info icon:
As already mentioned, every event has a prize pool where (at least it was like this in previous events) brewing supplies can be won. This way you can also get masterpiece quality ingredients without spending money. For example, here are the prizes for the upcoming Top Brewery Event:
(Of course there are prices for 2nd and 3rd place in between)
In this special event, only the best 10 will be rewarded. At other events there are also up to 25 prizes.
I think this update is very good, because there is more motivation to play the game actively. A little bit of competition can never hurt and in addition it makes the game look much more alive and active.
