Mayweather may have beaten Manny Pacquiao in professional boxing but Pacquiao beat the whole celebrity world to punch by launching his own cryptocurrency.
The token called "Pac" will be listed on Singapore's Global Crypto Offering Exchange (GCOX).
“We are not here to raise a lot of money but to build an ecosystem,” GCOX Founder and CEO Jeffrey Lin said.
Few more celebrities are expected to launch their own cryptocurrency soon on GCOX.
Pacquiao has a cult like following and he is adored for what he stands for. He is a successful politician, singer, boxer, artist and humanitarian. Having a cryptocurrency to his name will add credibility to cryptocurrencies in general and Pac Tokens in particular.
