Day twelve on my quest to write a story on Publish0x every day for a year. So far, I've covered the important topics of peanut butter, the word 'whoa', frogs, the difference between BTC, BCH and BSV, Croatia, coffee, the movie Drive, content as currency, coffee, Algorand, Brave Browser.
Today I'm gonna talk about the word 'zen'. And Horizen.
Grab a book, pour a glass of wine, take it easy.
Seconds turn into minutes, minutes turn into hours. That's my definition of Zen.
The word "Zen" actually comes from the Japanese pronunciation of the Middle Chinese word "dzjen" or "Chán", which in turn comes from the Sanskrit word dhyāna.
Roughly translated, it means "meditative state". In modern language, 'zen' means just about anything you want it to mean from 'calm and patient' to relaxed and resilient.
ZEN is a crypto, too. Inevitable, isn't it? Horizen, ticker symbol $ZEN, currently ranked 174th on CoinMarketCap's top 200. So not a lot to be excited about, is it?
Horizen is a PoW coin and I happened upon it because it is one of 17 cryptos available on FaucetCrypto, which is the only faucet I'm still using. So far I've made probably around $ZEN 2.
It won't make me rich but, as they say, it's better than being punched in the face.
