Agent swarms are coming. The web can't block every agent, nor should it so it needs a way to identify authorized parties and screen out hazardous swarms. What's needed is proof that an agent operates within its permitted limits.
zkVerify checks that proof holds. zkVerify focuses on simplifying zero-knowledge proof verification, supporting applications across areas such as privacy, DeFi and verifiable AI.
Horizen is developing a privacy-focused Layer 3 ecosystem on Base, with ZEN serving as its native ecosystem token following its migration to ERC-20.
Recent initiatives include builder funding, staking and longer-term research into quantum-resistant cryptography. The main challenge is converting these developments into active applications, liquidity and sustained demand for ZEN.
Meanwhile, I kept the fun alive in the zkVerify Discord by organizing a series of events and competitions throughout the summer.
From fantasy football and zk sports predictions to poker and plenty of other challenges, there was always something happening to keep the community engaged and the competitive spirit alive.
Participants earned ZKookies based on their results, turning every prediction, match and poker hand into another opportunity to climb the leaderboard.
After three months of summer competition, it was finally time to bring everything together and reveal the final standings. A special shoutout to Chris and Afzal, but also Heruvim, Infinity, Mani and Erik!
All were legendary competitors throughout the entire journey. They brought serious competitive energy, made the events even more entertaining and helped make the summer memorable.
It was about more than just points and rewards. It was about bringing people together, creating some friendly competition and making the zkVerify Discord a more active and enjoyable place to hang out.
