Some of us probably didn't notice, too busy commenting on Durov's arrest, but the TON blockchain suffered an outage.

The outage was apparently caused by a bug in the software of validator nodes, and it was apparently related to Dogs (DOGS), the newly-launched TON-based memecoin.

Due to the outage, block production was halted for several hours.

As per usual, the TON foundation said everything is fine and your funds are safe.

Which was true. But there aren't that many things I can think of that cause me anxiety same as 'your funds are safe'.
