I've become a lot more conscious and aware when it comes to my finance over the last three or four years.

I've been trying to maximise bonuses, cashbacks, and so on and so forth.

I use three providers.

Wirex and Nexo, for pure cashback; Revolut, for RevPoints, and Curve Pay, which (with the Pro plan) offers cashback with six retailers, plus cashback outside of Europe.

It's also convenient (even with the base plan) when it comes to switching between one card and the other seamlessly.

However, there was one thing I sort of hadn't figured out with Curve Pay, partly because apparently I'm a fool, but I guess also because the terms and conditions are not exactly explained clearly.

First, I thought Curve Pay Pro's cashback only applied outside the European Union and EEA economic region.

That's not the case.

So then I thought it would only provide cashback outside of geographical Europe.

But I was mildly wrong again.

In short, Curve Pay apparently provides cashback on any and every transaction conducted in a non-European currency.

Translated if you can somehow pay in US dollars, it doesn't matter where you are or what type of transaction it is.

You will get cashback.

It sounds a little unfeasible, but I have no currency exchange fees with Wirex and Revolut and so I thought, why not.

So I went ahead and tested this feature this morning.

My first transaction, apple juice.

Curve Pay's cashback sometimes takes a few minutes, or even a few hours or sometimes days.

So I'll be able to tell you whether this actually works in the coming days.

Also, why apple juice? I don't know. I just felt like having apple juice. I don't have an answer for everything.
