Cryptocurrencies diversify a lot by their features. They can live in constrainted environments controlled from one or more center points or they are decentralized and live on open internet busting new ideas and innovation.

For me only borderless, open, neutral, decentralized and censorship resistant crypto projects matter.

In this series of posts I want to discuss this important properties of Cryptocurrencies.

Cryptocurrency project must have all mentioned properties in just right proportions. Blockchain and other underlying technologies can not be separated from Cryptocurrency. Those interested in this technologies can't build successful project just from this underlying tools.

As analogy you can't take out a transmission from the car and say that you create something more useful then car. In the same way blockchain is just a part of Cryptocurrency.

For me decentralization is far most important feature of Cryptocurrencies.
