There is no doubt that the current Vruz promo card for SPS holders was a blast and for me, this signified a way that the Splinterland team gave back a little bit of value to all the investors and players from this great game. I was lucky enough to get almost 100 cards, of which 2 of them were Gold Foils. As I needed a solid investment to max them out, I decided to sell them on the open market. With regular cards going for around $0.50 and the 2 Gold Foils getting e $15, that translated into about $60 earnings from this promotion. I didn't count the value of the vouchers that I traded for them, but that shouldn't chip too much into the profits.

Vruz promo card
The first Promo card for SPS holders was Vruz and it needed just 1 Voucher for a card which probably allowed many investors to get some without much hustle if they are staking SPS like me. By selling the cards I made a bit of profit which is one that I haven't done for probably one year or more. As I am a holder and didn't make a move on the market in 2021 when the Splinterlands assets were skyrocketing, I am slowly balancing growing my assets in the game and also taking some profits when it makes sense. For example for now I am staking SPS like crazy and soon will get to 100,000 SPS, but I have no desire to sell any. If the market improves, I might make a move but at these prices, it simply doesn't make sense. And as the game keeps on developing and growing, I believe assets like SPS or cards will only grow in value.
Next promo card
The next promo card for SPS Holders might come earlier than expected and based on the last Splinterlands AMA that should happen somewhere in April. Things will not be the same going further and SPS holders will not be able to grab new Promo cards for pennies, but mostly DEC will be required for them. But even so, I believe there will be still some meat left on the bone and SPS holders should see the benefits of being long-term investors in the game. And to tell you the truth, I can barely wait to see this launched and make my move.

While these might seem like drops in an ocean of investments, they can sum up quite a bit in time. I am in Splinterlands for a long as I am one of the early adopters when the game was launched and the Alpha cards first saw the light of day. The game continues to improve and I am planning to enjoy and have fun with it, while also strategizing in order to maximize my returns proportionally with the investments that I've made. Steady growth in everything is key to sustainability and this is how I plan to move along!
