Splinterlands - Reaching my target of 100k SPS stake is just the beginning of the next journey

Since Splinterlands introduced Splintershards SPS quite a long time ago, I have set myself a goal of reaching 100,000 SPS staked. That happened during the previous bull run and I was dreaming of not having to work anymore and strike it big out if this amazing play2earn game. Many say that a goal without a plan is just a wish and to tell you the truth I had a plan and even executed it with perseverance. But while I reached my goal, the market turned around to 180 degrees and the bear season hit us as hard as it could. And while now I celebrate this great achievement, the dollar value for my accumulation doesn't compare at all with the market value from when I've started staking SPS. The plan was great, it succeeded, but the timing was just not right.

The current market price for SPS is now standing at $0.023 and while I have topped up over 100k SPS (actually the exact sum is 100,136.712 SPS), the dollar value for it is just $2,254.18. If I were to extrapolate the entire accumulation of asset to the previous ATH price of SPS of $1.07, that would have meant $107,146.28 which could well be the price of a house. Of course I didn't have the same number of assets at that point, but how amazing would that be if the price jumped back or if I would have taken some profits at that point. I would have a different feeling about where the game is at, regardless of the market conditions. But it is pointless to regret the past and I can only learn from it and push forward by beginning a new journey and strategy.

First of all my SPS commitment will continue from here as taking profits during these times it just too little, too late. My strategy will be to continue to stake and accumulate SPS while benefiting from an appealing 22% APR. This will allow me to wait for the next favorable market conditions, while building up more assets and expanding the ways of earnings. Just from the APR alone at this point I am earning 60.35 SPS per day or the equivalent of $1.38 as passive revenue. That is pretty good alongside the other earnings from the game. And if a bull market truly comes to fruition and the Splinterlands tokenomics are balanced, that could be some happy days ahead.
