I've been watching the latest Splinterlands AMA and I've listen carefully the questions part at the end of the show. And several inquiries and suggestions were made upon the Promo cards like Vruz which were a drop of rewarding and giving back to SPS holders. But while we all had our hopes on how this would move forward from now on, some clarifications were brought within the video stream which I think got us back on the ground from our dreamy thoughts. And it seems that next promo cards will come with a twist as those will mostly imply more revenue to Splinterlands rather than a big portion of revenue going towards the SPS stakers. But hopefully they will leave something on the table also for us in case we want to profit from such promotional events and cards.

Questions
Is it feasible to have a promo card released each month? If this was possible it seems like it would both encourage people to stake and keep staked SPS and this would add an additional use case for vouchers as it looks like Vruz burned around 370 000 vouchers. Would be nice to have once a month a vote similar to a proposal where players are given a choice of two promos a month and whichever one wins the SPS vote is the one that gets produced.
Answers
I think it's more of an economical economical question for the game balancing the supply and demand and all of that good stuff. I will say this that I know right now there is a plan to introduce a promo once a quarter or something like that.
I think that quarterly promo is really when Splinterlands as a company is looking to go release promos and have it to be like revenue to the business and the DAO cards are separate than that. Doing a million promos is not necessarily the next step you know we wanna take as we're trying to get these cards out of here and so I don't know it's a mix if we're open to doing it and we kind of have to look at what are conditions on the ground and how many new cards do we want to introduce and how many different ways do we want to put them in and how many vouchers are floating around and what utility are we looking for all that stuff.
Promo cards in Splinterlands will be different than the previous card that was a DAO proposal. For future promo fans will need to pay DEC so that it becomes revenue going into the business for it to continue operating, so it isn't going to have the same kind of similarities to the DAO proposal like using voucher, but kinda using DEC for it.

Conclusions
The above statements where taken from the latest Splinterlands - Youtube AMA and the discussions were summarized from the transcript. As we can see the future Promo cards will not be as previous one from the DAO proposal and actually those might not be linked at all to the DAO and SPS staked. The occurrence will be quarterly and will be a new revenue channel for Splinterlands as a mean of income and operating cost. If there will be any benefits for SPS holders is still to be seen based on the next launch and any considerations that the Splinterlands team might take. But what's clear is that it will not be anywhere similar to the Vruz promo card. I still hope that SPS holders will have some advantage in participation in the sale of future Promo cards and that they will be able to benefit from some kind of profit from trading them afterwards. But we'll just need to wait and see for the final tokenomics on this.
