Splinterlands is featured on the WAX blockchain | Splinterlands Social Media Challenge

Even if Splinterlands overreach on the WAX blockchain wasn't extended to its full potential, it still seems that it is featured amongst the games from there. This is quite important as it can act as an Entry Portal for new players. Just few days ago I was browsing the WAX games ecosystem to see if there is any new or appealing free2play game I can add to my earning streams, so I think that others do the same. Marketing is a huge thing and without it games like Splinterlands can only shrink or stay stale for a time until the fall follows. Without new players, with new income coming to the game, there isn't much it can be done and it dangers the entire ecosystem existence.

WAX blockchain doesn't shines these days as many of the crypto projects out in the wild, but I still think it has some life left into it. And the last news about the fact that WAX Partners With Amazon For AWS Cloud Development Kit shows its potential and what it can become. And I believe that Splinterlands needs to associate with growing and evolving projects and tap into their potential and user base. This needs to be part of the marketing strategy and I believe that the game leaders should really think about it as this is how Splinterlands can survive and even thrive if all the right mechanics are put into place.

I don't want to criticize the current team management, but while technically the game still evolves, economically I feel it is a disaster for both the players and the company itself. We need a vision on how to symbiose these things and put some fuel in this stalling ecosystem. And whether we want to believe it or not, marketing is needed for the survival of this amazing play2earn blockchain game. We were once on top of the GameFi world, so who says we cannot get back there... I surely still have hope for it.Image from thread

While I have already presented my story in the Splinterlands realm - Splinterlands 6 Year anniversary and I am still here even if not a Millionaire yet, I cam e with this post to present the angle of marketing and spreading the word in other ecosystems in order to bridge more players to the Splinterlands. I believe we need continuance and a strategy for that as new blood will be what's feeding this ecosystem. I would bridge the Solana ecosystem to Splinterlands as there is crazy interest there and a lot of users which might be inclined to jump into the realm of web3 games.
