This post is a tutorial which will show you how to sign up to Brave Rewards as a creator and earn rewards for the content you post online. Please note that Brave Creators was previously BAT Publishers. It was renamed recently as Brave Creators. This tutorial is for content creators and it explains how to earn rewards when Brave users pay attention to creators' content.
Let's get started. First, you will have to visit publishers.basicattentiontoken.org and click "Sign Up". Then, you will be asked to provide your email address. Fill the form with your email address and click "Create account".

Brave will send you a verification email. Open the email in your inbox and click "Verify email". The email is sent from @basicattentiontoken.org. Please make sure that you are visiting the official website.

Clicking the "Verify email" button will send you back to Brave Creators' website. You will be asked to provide your name. Write something in the name field and click Sign Up. Make sure to check or uncheck the box beside the message about mentioning your site in Brave's marketing channels. I would recommend unchecking it if you prefer to keep your online presence private.

Now that your account is successfully created, you will be referred to the creator dashboard.
It looks something like this:

In the footer of the dashboard, you will see an "Add Channel" button. This feature is used to connect your Brave Creators account with your websites or social media handles. Click on the button to add your website or social media handle where you write content. You will see a pop-up like the one shown in the image below:

Click on the social handle you want to add and Brave will send you to authorize and verify your handle. Now, everything is set and you can earn BAT when your supporters tip you. But to redeem and withdraw them, you need to connect an uphold account. Click "Connect to Uphold" to link your uphold account with your Brave Creators account.
If you don't have an uphold account, you can create one by visiting https://uphold.com. It is free but you need to upload your KYC (know your customer) documents to verify your account.
