In the first part of this travelreport I've told you about our flight and the first day in Tromsø. Today I wanna go on reporting from our trips to different spots in this beautiful country.

But before we go on travelling, let me hand in some night photos of Tromsø...

See from the opposite side of the bridge

Tromsø Church. This interesting building should look like Iceplates, which have been stacked. This is not only a church, but also a place where you can visit concerts. This building is one of the landmarks of Tromsø. 

In our second night, round about midnight, the alarm in our hotel started, and all guests in this hotel had to leave their rooms. So, we went down the staircase and outside the hotel.. Well, quite cold, if you don't wear your thermo-clothing... After the firebrigade arrived, everything was found as a false positive alarm... So, we went to bed again

So, the next day, we just went in our car, ans start driving a bit north. 

Near a small village, We found a lot of these small boats. I found this ring of ice on this buoy quite nice, doesn't it look a bit like saturn? :)

While going on driving north, we met this nice guy. He and some of his friends where blocking the road to a shipwreck, we want to visit. But, well, this was the chance for me, to use my especially for this journey bought zoom lens, a Nikkor 200-500mm. 

After a short discussion with the boss of this herd, they've let us pass, and we went on one of the typical roads in norway. By the way, this image above was taken at 4 pm in january and it was already quite dark...

Some minutes later, we found what we where looking for. The old shipwreck, which was stranded here...

Soon, the sun went down, and we turned to go back south again...

And finally, we spotted our first polarlights. Enjoying those in reallife is just amazing, pictures cannot capture, how beautiful this is. But well,, I tried...

The bright spot in the middle of this image is the moon... It was nearly fullmoon..

After a while and another location change, the aurora got even stronger
