It finally looks like we have a winner in the race to become the first DEX on the Cardano blockchain. This next Thursday the 20th, they will launch the SundaeSwap beta with all its operational functions.
At the same time, as of January 25, those who have ADA in their portfolio will have the opportunity to access the ISO of this project, without putting their capital at risk. To do this, they will have to delegate their ADA to one of the Scoopers pools, which were previously selected by community vote for the distribution of their native Sundae token, through the Catalyst project.
To participate, it will only be necessary to delegate ADA in one of the pools previously explained before January 25, the deadline on which the first ISO distribution round will be calculated. This process will repeat itself for the next 5 epochs, starting in 316 and ending in 320, February 19. It is important to note that unlike other projects, by participating in this ISO we do not risk our capital, since our investment will remain safe in the wallet, obtaining Sundae tokens in addition to the usual ADAs.
In the same way, from January 20 and for 6 months, the option to get Sundae rewards through yield farming will also be available.
I would also like to highlight that the developers of this project warn that given the great expectations with the launch of this DEX, and transaction limits that still exist in the Cardano chain, there will surely be an accumulation of orders during the first weeks of operations, which will be resolved as they go.
We are facing the first of many projects that will arrive on the Cardano network, for the moment it has won the race to be the first, but as in everything, the first does not have to be the best. The haters of this blockchain will still have the opportunity to continue writing on their line, but I am increasingly convinced that Cardano, leaving aside speculation about the value of its currency, is one of the few projects that exist in the ecosystem crypto, which can help us achieve truly decentralized global finance.
