Arcadecolony: My Leaderboard Progress, staked more COLONY and having more COLONY in the airdrop.
I am still hooked on the Moonkarts game, and I keep playing it regularly every season. Sometime I even play single player also, just to check how good or bad I play when I play in multiplayer. It looks like I generally play well when driving alone in race track, and I am not surprised at all by this fact. In current scenario , I have multiple karts in the game as well as multiple drivers. Currently, I own common, rare, and epic karts and also have common, rare, and 2 epic drivers. I toggle between playing epic and rare combination, as sometimes I stake my epic card assets with SCRIPT to generate FUEL.
As in my earlier posts, I already have mentioned that I have 2 epic drivers namely Aurora and Vortex. I chose Vortex as my first choice, as Vortex is faster than Aurora, but I found that Aurora has better handling than Vortex. Still, I have no plan to sell any of them and will use Vortex going forward, but will add cards that will give better handling stats overall for the game play.
Playing for the current season. I see my claim of the COLONY tokens increased in this seasom and the season is yet to end. I expect to improve my ranking and staking of the colony tokens, so my earned rewards will increase in the game. Higher the ranking and more the stakes token, more you can earned in the Leaderboard prize.
As I already mentioned, using Epic driver Vortex, I faced some handling challenges, so I am not able to pick much orbitals from the track, and my rank on orbital leaderboard did not went high.
Airdrop Distribution
I am not sure if everyone is aware of the ongoing COLONY token airdrop for staking SPS and GLX tokens. Interesting thing is that airdrop is 5 years long and it recently concluded it's first year, Another interesting aspect of this airdrop is that total number of COLONY tokens to be airdropped is increasing with the years passed.
805,719,893.207 COLONY will be airdropped over 5 years. 50% of the airdrop balance will be dropped to staked SPS holders while remaining 50% of the airdrop balance will be dropped to staked GLX holders. Airdrop distribution is designed in such a way that less airdrop tokens quantity increases each year to ensure a slower supply rate at start and award longterm stakers of the platform. Following table show the colony tokens that will be airdropped each year.

Look like it is an additional good reason to accumulate SPS. If you are an Splinterland's player then do check your account for the COLONY airdrop.
